I remember working for a mobile service provider and selling phones was part of my daily job. 600 for a phone was insane. Only a few people bought phones at that price every week. As an Android user, I honestly don't care. Purchase whatever is best for you. But this guy is making common sense. I simply don't get why people with iPhone X would purchase Xs. Same design, faster chip but with no real world difference at all. But has lousier reception, and a few bugs. But honestly, whatever anyone else does with their own money is fine by me. I'm using OP6 and I love it. Hopefully I get to keep it for 2 years at least, since I tend to upgrade more then is really necessary. Now I'm gonna try to stop my stupid smartphone addiction :)

I’m glad it wasn’t included or I would be super pissed since I bought the iPad power brick last year for a ridiculous price but Rogers fucked up my preorder so I didn’t get the X. I usually get the S model anyways and already had a case ready so I’m grabbing the Xs just because it makes sense for me with the carrier discount.

Then after the next one you buy, if u wait an extra year, thats 2 years without buying a new one and it will soon add up to several fewer phones bought by you in total. It's not all about the features. It's also about longevity and customer service. Android phones stop getting firmware upgrades after the first update, unless you buy a google stock phone which a small minority does. Customer service for these other phones is definitely not there also. I have a iPhone 6s a 3 year old phone and it runs as if it's brand new.

The colours of the XR should have been a selling point of the XS, and the XR should have been an iPhone 9.

When it came out I was disappointed with the bezels and the notch. Also more or less it’s the same speed as the iPhone X. But the watch won this year.

Im not defending the phones, but thicker bezels arent so bad. It makes it easier for companies to make tempered glass protectors that dont have to curve to the edge of the display.

And what if you have a two year old oneplus 3T wich keeps lagging, should you upgrade to the Xs?

Still using my 5s, want to upgrade keyboards to small, tired of correcting spelling mistakes. But not for that price. Maybe switch to Samsung.

It helps if you think of it not as something taking away from part of the screen, but as 2 small extensions to the screen that protrude into the bezels. Personally, I don’t mind the notch because you don’t even notice it after a couple days, and also every other company is copying it so yeah. Also, where else would they put the camera? They have pop up ones but those will break after a certain amount of time from their moving parts. So yeah, come up with a way to put the camera underneath the screen, and the notch will go away.

I don't think anyone but tech reviewers should upgrade after just 1 year. #1 expensive #2 just a few upgrades (not just iPhone) #3 even if you're rich, it's a waste of time migrating everything

Honestly I've been an iPhone user since the 3G however I just sold my iPhone X two weeks ago and bought a 128GB Note 9 I actually love both devices but feel Apple isn't doing enough. Seriously where is split screen multitasking? Not to mention with the screen size of the XS Max still no stylus support.... I love Apple but I work too hard for my money to spend my dollars on an overpriced under achieving product that seems to have lost it's drive for design and innovation...RIP Steve Jobs you're sorely missed

@@Turkboyz20 I guess it depends on what you want on your phone iPhone is certainly a great product however I enjoy the S pen and split screen mode on my note 9 not to mention the ability to upgrade my memory with an SD card. If you're looking at spending a $1000 on a phone I'd certainly do your homework.

Cash Cunningham the wife and I swapped from iPhones to notes a couple of years ago. They had split screen multitasking and S pens and a couple of other features. Used them for about a week or so and never used them again.

Next iPhone:$2000 10 years later:iPhone 20,just a mic and a speaker FOR $7000-7500....real cold apple😂😂😂🤣
