Thanks for sharing this tip. I was going to buy the braided loop for my current watch today figuring it would fit an Ultra when I upgrade. I’ll wait until I upgrade now.

Hated the silicone solo loops. Got real sweaty on me. Wasn’t paying double for the braided ones. Stuck with trail/sport loops

Sport loops are def comfortable 👍🏼

Got 2 size smaller than what Apple recommended for the ultra and though it is snug I prefer it that way.

Yeah... I did the Apple test for my current Series 6 and ended up going TWO sizes smaller than what the Apple Test recommended... and 1000% happy with that smaller size over the last three years. Will go one smaller again for the Ultra and hopefully still have that snug feeling.

I also want to buy a braided solo loop for my Apple Watch Ultra but i have no Apple store near me. I saw in another video that it is recommended to take a 1.5 size smaller if you are between two numbers on Apples print help und 2 sizes smaller if you are direct on a number. So i have to take an even smaller size with my Ultra? In my personal example....the Apple print "help" says between 8 and 9, so minus 1.5 makes 7 minus 1 from this video makes 6. Is that correct? i am confused.

If you’re between an 8 and 9 on the test measurement from Apple, I would recommend 7

@@beardfm Sure? With the logic of the 2 videos combined it should be 6. How difficult or even possible is it to return such a braided solo loop to Apple? Or is eBay the only way with a few Euros loss?

Should I Buy a Braided Solo or a Ocean Band? I already have Alpine,Trail and Silikon Sportband.I dont surf or do any Crazy watersports.

Now you’ve confused me. I have a braided loop size 7 that came with my AW7. I have lost a bit of weight since and it’s now a bit loose on the AW7, but I was thinking about getting one for my Ultra. Does that mean I should go down two sizes to a 5, rather than 1 size to a 6?

If your 7 is loose and you’re going for a solo loops, I’d go 5 for an ultra right now

The physically larger casing makes it all looser, unfortunately
