With the “What The” theme sneakers it harder to wear for the older crowd. A lot of the “what the” color ways look like a Jr high kid should be rocking. These are a lot more subtle easier to wear for any age group and still hits the target on “Top 3” easy cop!🔥

The 4s and the 5s are my Air Jordan favourites. Getting the 4s back in the day, here in Portugal was extremely complicated. Over the years I owned more 5s. As for this colourway, I agree with your take on it.

nike did a lot of work to do worldwide release every week.... and people will fight for them...

I give them a 9/10. Love these. Had to swoop a pair. They are alot like the black grapes which are my all time favorite Jordan. The one that got me into sneakers. I never got a pair of the black grapes though so this is the next best thing. I was so excited when I finally got these top 3s in my hands. The top 3 style is cool. I think they could have done it different also but it's still pretty dope. So I'm cool with it.

Unpopular opinion Jordan 5 and 6 are better looking and more comfortable than Jordan 1's

Your sleeping on these ...sleep on heat bite on the hype is the theme these days. Guess u have to have some designer collaboration behind anything to give it that hype juice....terrible that yall don't see the history behind the color ways on the shoe in general with the 5 that's so dope...not the same as the Jordan 1 top 3 ,they are different bro come on! if they had a collab with this with someone famous and the bots are bought and paid for and this shoe is 700 and sold out .. but I put money on it and doubled up on this .easy over time sneaker heads/ sports collectors see the rarity in this shoe drop and collectability of it. There were people who hadn't bought a jordan in 18 years and then they got back to Jordans with this drop coming out ...keep sleeping let the true collectors get something let the hype be the hype these days.

All truth!! First time I've bought a Jordan since the Black/Blue OG 13! Im glad Hypebeasts dont like it cause I was able to cop easily! The tongue is what sets it off and alludes to a multitude of outfit color choices...plus is just a hard shoe as far as looks go...he's trying so hard to hate on these shoes like he watched a video of someone else hating and said ima be a bigger hater than you smdh

@MRFOAMERSIMPSON First off this one of the best reviews I have seen on this shoe. Most of the other reviews just show the shoe without talking about the quality of the materials. Personally I am a “5” head; the 5’s are my favorite Jordan of all time. I am really looking forward to this release and will be trying to cop one for the first time on release date via Nike, SNKRS app, etc. The resale for this shoe as of right now is around $330-$360...and based on your review I feel that is a little too high. I don’t feel that this shoe was as hyped as the Flint 13’s and I thought the resale value was going to skyrocket based on how many people didn’t cop on release day however, it has hovered around $260-$280 which in my opinion is still a good deal based on how many KZread SneakerHeads felt on how good the shoe was going to do. If I really wanted the Flints, I would pay $260 for a pair, I don’t know about $330.

5s are one of my favourite silhouettes and I can't say no to a predominantly black pair. A pity to hear they used that cheap durabuck on these. The execution could have been better indeed, but still think it's a cool shoe. I expect these will sit, so they can be picked up with a nice discount I guess. I would give these a 7 out of 10.

I thought about buying these and having a guy I know who does shoe customs make the tongue Black and Red . I'm surprised Jordan Brand hasn't done a Bred 5 other than the Satin or Jordan 5 low Bred

I'm fine with my OG FIRE RED from last month.. top 1 and WHAT THE 4 are fine but these don't have that must COP feel 👎 The Fire Red black tongue is due for a retro the proper way(specifically the leather not the 2013 hard synthetic).

I love this shoes i got them and i give it a 10/10 and would buy them again.

should of added some white to the sneaker. So it was more of a random color but still workable to wear with other colors and mixing white or even the suede could of been better quality. I agree Jordan's today really NEEDS to WOW! me to grab.

If you like the shoe, dont worry about the quality, the jordan 5 top 3's have the standard durabuck upper. This is common for 5's and as much as it isnt amazing quality, if you like the shoe, please dont let it turn you off it

@@campkira I think he meant the Nike Air doesn't belong on these Jordan 5 "Top 3". JB wasted their time and should've saved the "Nike Air" for another OG colorway. "Nike Air" DEFINITELY does mean a lot for OG colorways.

I'll take a pair with a *canary yellow* tongue for visual pop.
