Had those back in 91' in 5th grade. I loved them so much I drew a picture of them. They got stolen at a wrestling match. I used the drawing to show around next match and got them back after I beat the kid up.

The way this shoe is put together with that color blocking like you said is what makes the magic for a 91' shoe so 10/10 🙌

A must have. That OG Nike Air on the heal is a big sell for me. I would give them a 9. Only because I also believe the quality should be of the Highest, especially for the price.

Okay, I'm ngl. I have never been a huge fan of the Jordan 6. But this Carmine colorway is actually making me like this sneaker a lot more. Adding this to the ever-growing list. Just wish I knew how this fit. We dont get shoes like this to hit stores in my state sadly.

Need this OG 6...whew. It’s too 🔥...I know it’s a Hypebeast type but shoe I love my Travis 6s and how they executed those. Got the new class, this would round it out nicely...ready for release day! Great review!

My first Jordan’s were the Cardinal 7s I got for my early surprise Christmas and birthday present. Even as a kid I loved sneakers. I had wanted these carmines previous year but parents would not spring for them. The next year though I must have done something to break em down and buy the new model. Which was very cool. Loved my 7s too but always felt 6 was better looking. Just copped these today on SNKRS so finally have a pair!

Had the OG pair when I was in junior High back in ‘91. One of the best shoes I’ve ever worn. Miss them every day.

Honestly a must cop for me . Still rock my 2014 Carmine’s from time to time so these are a must for the toe, have a nice crispy 2021 pair to keep on ice for a lil while .

I agree ☝🏾 I copped the infrared j’s too and I still get comments till this day. U can NEVER GO WRONG w/the infrareds they are still 10’s n my mind, however the carmines r 8’s /8.5 compared to infrareds 10’s hands down... newbie & subscribed love ❤️ u guys inputs keep it up n I’ll stay tuned....

The OG Carmines was our varsity hoop team shoe my freshman year in 91-92

I bought 3 pair already. They came in the mail yesterday. They are icy as hell in person regardless. Great video!

Foamer, I'm right there with ya on the Nike Air on the heel. 100% I think its because when I got my first pair of Jordans in was the red/white/black 1's in 1985 when I was 10. Then every year, til I graduated high school, when I got the next release, it was Nike Air. Granted, it wasn't until 1987 and I got my first pair of 3's did I know how nice the Nike Air on the heel was. There was no such thing as Jumpman Air logo back then. I would venture to guess that's why I'm so passionate about the Nike Air being on the retros.

The Jordan 6 Carmine are very nice. This will be my first time owning a pair (if I can hit on SNKRS app). But I really want two pairs for myself and my dad because he like Jordan’s too. I am looking forward to do whatever it takes to get these shoes.

I had these in Middle School back in 2013... I love these but at the same time, I dont really wear 6s but this colorway is nice to look at

Wow was so bummed I wasn’t able to get these when they dropped but I just got gt hen at my outlet, they’re b grade and were full price but nothing noticeably wrong with them and don’t like paying resale so I’m happy

The AJ 6 are my favourite silhouette. In Europe, the Carmine were so rare. I went crazy when I saw them on game aired on Canal+ TV channel. They were the grail so when Nike retroed them in 2014, I was crazy. Sure, they have a jump an on the heel, but that’ll make do to sooth my envy for this pair.

I would cop these but I already have them. Mine just don't have the Nike Air on the Heel. Love the Carmine's though. Really good shoe overall.

I had the black AJ6 from the 1991 playoffs. Got them in the summer of '91 and had them for about 20 years.

The new ones have a cloth like red velvet material that just gets me on, I am thinking of buying I see the older ones but I think I like this new ones material

Us old heads value the OG remastered with Nike Air on the Jays.

These are a must.

I remember when the Infra-Reds came out in 91, it was the first Basketball shoe that was all black... even though it’s one color now, that was huge back then

@@mrfoamersimpson I’m over 50, so I’ve seen it all.... but I distinctly remember walking in and seeing the Infrared’s on the wall, “ A Black Shoe”, only MJ could make that happen... grabbed two pairs, made steel toe’s for my Union job and a pair to rock.... When I started wearing Nike’s, it was Bruins or Blazers... The suede Pumas lows were really popular.... Man, the culture has changed- but nothing like a nee pair of kicks

Love the Jordan Retro 6, I'd love a pair but they're very hard to find here in the UK and the ones you can find online are ridiculously expensive. I do and don't like this colourway, I like it cos it looks great, but then I don't like it, cos of how white sneakers always end up going yellow quickly. I much prefer darker colourway's, my personal favourite Jordan 6 is the Black Cat 😊👌

Foamy got it right. 1,3s,4s,11s,6s in that order. It could slightly switch from 3 and 4 but for the most part his top 5 is on point. In my opinion.

I think this colorway blocking was right on for 1991. The sideways 3 on the shoe looks like a big M to me and reminds me of my brother Michael who was also born in 1991.

One of my top 5 AJs forsure. Sold my 2013(or 14?) pair almost DS...shoe felt pretty stiff. Hope these are better quality
