I got my 22 Y62 pretty much standard with all this rain and very boggy conditions around my property only had to engage only once 4wd did it with the greatest of ease otherwise 2WD does it really easy where as my other cars used to get bogged. LOL. Plenty of Deep Water crossings lately over a metre deep cross it no problems without a snorkel. It's petrol engine you really only need a snorkel for diesel can't afford to get water in that can't compress water & it ends up bending your rods. Absolute bugger when that happens. Towing the 3.35 t van no problems. No sags then again I don't carry that much equipment as you blokes so it's never over loaded. I like to keep it simple and only take the basic essentials. The Y62 Nissan absolute Beast. LOL Good content as usual. 🇭🇲😀👍🍻🍻

I've got a gu patrol and I'm pretty tempted to get airbag man's coil replacement airbags in the front and rear. I'm pretty nervous biting the bullet, some 4wd shops have actually tried to talk me out of it, but the fact that both your car and van run airbags, it definitely boosts my confidence. The off road van air suspension scene gaining popularity is actually what made me consider it and it seems to have nothing but positive feedback from the owners. I think my concerns just go back to that old school mentality like you mentioned in this video

The Diesels have a little more torque ???? Bro, the Ford F-250 Powerstroke (2023/4) has 500 HP and 1490 Nm, the V8 petrol 6..2 hat 400 HP, but only 570 Nm.....a factor of almost 3. In addition, we drove in the US a trip with 3 Powerstrokes with trailer, and 2 V8 Petrols (Ram, F-250, GMC)....fuel consumption: Diesel average (highway, mountains, off-roads, trails, normal roads) 16.3 l/100 km, Petrols , all 25-31 l/f100 km.....and the price diff. is in 2024 USA is 3.45 USD/gallon petrol, vx. 3.79 USD/gallon.....so take a trip 5,000 km, compare costs overall, and you wil be considerably more better off with a diesel than with a petrol !
