I was there in 2013, it’s well worth another visit. The food especially the beef, the good Malbec’s real good wine, go to the Derby, River Plate vs Boca Juniors, go to Iguassu watch all the beautiful falls, that’s in Misioness, go to the Tango shows in Buenos Aires, and finish in Mendoza, visit some of the fine Vineyards.

Don't go here. Most food reviews by Gringos are done with good intentions but since they have no context for what is 'good,' they tend to follow the crowd and reference what other networks have previously reviewed, creating an unjustified self reinforcement. Don Julio isn't anything special unless you like high prices. My experience was horribly rude service, dirty tables, and meat cooked so far beyond what I ordered that it was nearly inedible. Since I know B.A. quite well I can say with 100% confidence that any neighborhood place can exceed Don Julio in every way at a fraction of the price, unless you like paying for status and hype. This is not where 'normal Argentines' eat. On the contrary, you will be surrounded by Gringos thinking they are having an authentic experience while they take your money and feed you substandard dishes. Go elsewhere.

It's regional. Remember, Spanish is spoken in MANY parts of the world in many different cultures!
