Don Dirk on King Von Calling Himself Black Disciple Leader King David's "Grandson" (Part 14)

Part 15: • Don Dirk: Real GD's & ...
Part 13: • Don Dirk on Lil JoJo K...
Part 1: • Black Disciples Co-Fou...
--------
In the latest clip, Don Dirk talked about preventing South Side Chicago Hospital from closing. He claimed that the hospital's closure would've been "genocide" against Black residents and claimed the hospital still removed key services despite his successful protests. He also reacted to King Von claiming to be King David's grandson and said the late rapper looked at King David just as he viewed the former Black Disciple leader as his father. Check out the rest of the above clip to hear Don Dirk respond to claims that the Black Disciples and Gangster Disciples no longer have leadership.

He understands that crime is tied to poverty and the lack of fundamental resources. Included in that is bangin'. If these individuals had access to fundamental resources and capital the problems will soon cease to exist on the level it is now. These young men and women have seized the opportunity of enrichment from monetizing their way of life in the entertainment and music business, which is not a small feat. One problem with it is they are rewarded for the behavior they are naturally inclined to abhor. This is called conditioning and it's being impressed upon the younger generation that they can be King Von, FBG Duck and countless others who rise and fall in this life has become our entertainment and we forget these are real lives with real consequences and not just KZread. 🤦🏿♂️😥

When Dirk mentioned how they took the hospitals out the hood, and now if someone gets shot they’d either bleed to death or die on the way being transported to a major hospital, I felt that. Watching the news about that happening to people or even famous rappers from Chicago experience that is heartbreaking… I live in Aurora, IL second largest city in IL, I be seeing that on the news a lot. One person I think of is LA Capone, he got shot on the south side but had to be taken to a hospital up north and died on the way there 💔 a lot of things need to change in Chicago, investing into the brown/black communities here and also the policing as well 🙏🏾💯

They won't listen to ANYBODY. There's no structure, guidance and leadership. Vlad loves to play that clip about Freeway Ricky saying that black gangs lack leadership but it really is true when you think about it.It's not like he was wrong.None of these young dudes are going to listen to the older guys. It's like Saigon said, there's no elder statesmen in rap and it's the same thing for gang culture.

Ain’t nothing to listen to, these older niggas can’t tell a nigga who took L’s how to react..Until you felt that pain of loosing a love one or felt the fear of getting shot at or that feeling of being shot nobody can tell a nigga how to react...if them older niggas really felt that way they wouldn’t had started the war..Now that it’s over on they part it’s easy for them to say that but even they wouldn’t have listen..

@Mr Morris it's basically like that if you look at it most people who are in that life had no choice didn't have somebody to show them the right way or didn't have no choice but to adapt to their environment the only deference is one of them gets to choose if they want that life the other one doesn't forreal

I always wondered WHAT was going on with my brothers and sisters in Chicago !!
So basically they trying to show the youth a better way but not trying to enforce it or shove it down their throat. I don’t blame them look at Willie Loyd and Walter Wheat.

7:36 Don Dirk is speaking FACTs, there is no gang problem, there's an economic problem and a poverty problem. These politicians knows this. Instead of having police over populating theses areas. These politicians need to create business development to the black people that live there and have livable wages jobs (not minimum wage jobs) to build some type of emPOWERment inside of these young black people. If these politicians not talking about emPOWERing the black community, then the politicians are USELESS.
