This will be part of a new series that will go over a specific mechanic in detail quickly without me rambling or getting side tracked! Dominions 6 is a turn based 4x strategy game suitable for both play vs AI, player vs player. Team play vs AI or players also works great as everyone can do their turns at once. The game has a huge variety of units, spells, magic items and different nations to play.

Great overview 👌 at some point a good related topic to cover would be the (not at all controversial) twilight battle timer mechanism and how/when you'll lose all the buffs that you've meticulously painted

Where to start on twilight... I do agree that the fact you lose all your buffs doesn't sit right with me, 100 rounds seems like alot but for some of the big epic fights it does feel like a wet fart. I'll probably talk about it in a future video, but honestly I'm just hoping it's changed in the future so I don't have to cover it! Glad you enjoyed the video!

A good list! There's alot of buffing spells in the game which is why I didn't think to include a large list of them, I'm going to go more into detail about lower level research in schools for what you can do as a larger video so I'll try and give some good combos there and especially in the thugging video!
Also would be helpful to know which buffs stack and which don't, eg is there any net benefit to skeletal body + stoneskin + mistform. Or would that just be wasted? Thx for your explanations, they are helpful to this Dom-series newbie.

A very good point! This will be included on my thugging video that should be out shortly once the Easter holidays are over! As a brief explanation yes having all those defensive buffs stack and are very useful, mistform can be broken so having additional pierce resistance and then natural protection on top of that will make it so that your unit is tankier and more likely to only take chip damage or no damage rather than big swings.
