    Yeah. It's actually a song recorded by Cubans, specifically by my neighbour, so we knew we could use it on KZread without copyrights problems :)

    Hi Martin, Thanks a lot :) We are glad you enjoy it. We are not from Cuba I am from Poland (Michal), June is from China. Other people you can see in our videos are also Polish or British. We live in Manchester, UK :) We started interviewing Cuban people living in the UK before the pandemics started, but now we had to postpone this project.

    Why are you having the woman doing the men's timing? Why do all teachers do this? She should be doing the women's timing no?

    As you noticed everybody is teaching solo classes this way, what makes it a convention. It's also a lot easier to organize the class, when all people in the room are dancing the same way. Ladies are also used to it. I would say that from their perspective it is beneficial to learn to dance both way. They do "man's" timing on solo classes and the revered one, when they dance in couples.
