So, essentially ghost writers come to the comments section of YT and hate rather than writing more hits. Got it! If you are a ghostwriter and y’all out here snitching on the artist, you are a horrible ghostwriter because part of your job is keeping quiet. Hence the term “ghost”. If anything y’all ghostwriters should be happy, that’s more work and money for you. Or is y’all mad because you feel like you should have been the artist but it didn’t work out for you? Someone explain please, because I’m truly trying to understand.

@@kendudagrea8484 I really can’t attest to hearing ghosts. Perhaps quiet is not the word I was searching for. Let me clarify, to me the term “ghost” in ghostwriter suggests that no one is suppose to know that you wrote the song except for yourself and maybe the artist. A ghostwriter can be defined as a person who writes material that is credited to someone else as the author, in exchange for a one-time monetary lump sum. So essentially, the ghostwriter gives up his/her right to call the literary work their own at the time of the writing agreement/transaction. So given, the definition above, you really can’t spin this how you want or try to suggest that they are only to remain “hidden” not keep “quiet”. Part of their job is to remain hidden but it also can be said that they should remain quiet as well because they WILLINGLY gave up their creative work to be claimed by someone else for $$$. That song is no longer theirs because they sold it to that person. So why even talk about it? It just seems like jealousy and a malicious attempt to discredit the creativity of the artist.
