I recently developed a new load-pattern for seismic analysis usign the Domain Reduction Method (DRM) for OpenSees. We also created a plugin to use the load pattern (easily) for the STKO program. Here are the (amplified) displacement results for such a simulation which uses my full simulation stack.
* DRM dataset of ground motions prepared using my ShakerMaker library (shakermaker.readthedocs.io/en....
* Run in OpenSeesMP in my in-house cluster using 16 cores (1 node), runs in less than 2 minutes.
* Model prepared and visualized using STKO (www.asdeasoft.net/stko?product...)
The source-site geometry is setup so that only horizontal motions are produced. Shown is half of the model. Motions are still 3-D, even if surface motions are purely in the horizontal direction.
