hahah it really was my feeling during/after the gig, captivating !! I guess (I wasn't there to tell!) that it's the first band since Joy Division / Bauhaus that exudes that kind of bewitching atmosphere, maybe i'm wrong but WOW anyway

Really great performance, it’s impressive how tight they sound with just 3 members, I think the choice of using a drum machine is good for the band, I like live drumming too but this gives them them a really unique sound. Both the guitar and bass sound great too, I can’t pick a favourite, and the singer’s drone-ish deep voice match the instrumentation wonderfully.

Thank! But the correct translation of the 7th song in 22:46 is not “Spaceship”, but ”Bedpan”. In Russian, the word “Судно“ (Ship) has 2 meanings. This song is from a hopeless patient in a hospital setting.

@@denishasanov4819 You're almost right. The second meaning of the word is a Bedpan or bed pan is a receptacle used for the toileting of a bedridden patient in a health care facility, and is usually made of metal, glass, ceramic, or plastic (Wikipedia).

Stop comparing this band with lots of other previous bands. They sound unique! They've got the weirdest beautiful sound I havent heard in a while. If you want to use labels, they've got much of a lot: ebm, post punk, dark and new wave, they've got that under taste well put together and they've created something new so shut up and listen! xD (and enjoy) It's amazing when it's almost 2020, you think good music, good bands are dead and then you listen to this. I'm so glad I found them at the end of last year, for the first time in my life thank you for popping up Detriti bands on next youtube.

La comparación en la que cae a menudo mucha gente se debe mayormente a que tienen escasos referentes, es decir, relacionan inmediatamente el sonido de una banda (en este caso MD) a cierto grupo ochentero, como si ese grupo hubiera inventado algo que sabemos fue más bien producto de toda una escena, y de la mezcla de diversas influencia previas. Así la explosión post-punk fue ese aire fresco que necesitaba desde hace mucho el rock que yacía estancado, y sin embargo no podría decir que sea patrimonio o invento de un solo grupo sino de toda una generación de talentosos músicos. A mi también me alegra sobremanera que estén apareciendo grupos que cojan ese sonido post punk/dark wave y no solo en europa sino tambien en America. Tiene que ver mucho el rescate de joyas ineditas de bandas como A Haunted Sawmill, o el rescate de leyendas como Handful Of Snowdrops. Sin ir muy lejos sudamerica también tiene en Zero (Persecución) o Ultimo Refugio (Nada cambia su curso) exponentes del sonido darkwave que amamos. P.D: Una productora está gestionando la visita de Molchat Doma en Lima para el 2020, pronto más info.

@@MariaJacobe12 Se cayó como todos los eventos que ya estaban programados para este segundo trimestre debido al fucking COVID, ojalá haya posibilidad a fin de año ya que según dicen tocarán en Mexico en octubre, aunque con la prolongación de la cuarentena quien sabe si sea viable, considerando incluso la recesión económica que se viene sobre el país. También soy de Perú y si te interesa esta musica te recomiendo el Noir Antré, local en donde puedes oir este tipo de musica, o también buscar a Inclub o Infrabox Records en FB que distribuyen material musical de todas partes del mundo.
