I’m hands down for the Baryshnikov’s directions for this staging!!! Very unique and classy as well. each characters, even every one of the dancers are really full of their life on stage❤️ Seems like his version is technically hard, (musicality and all the steps are very specific. Tempo of the music is sometimes a bit faster than some other versions.) but dancers are seems easy to dance...still so impressive to watch!!!

This is a world class production and the mime and gestures are the brilliant end products of Ballet Russe and M.B. is the best living example. This type of greatness comes from the genius behind the choreography. Mikhail's contribution to the ballet culture needs to be recognized by young artists especially in this time of isolation. He and R.N. gave the highest standards by which we can measure this art form.It was invented by King Louis XIV who was a prolific performer. If it is not shared and practised, we lose an essential part of spiritual enlightenment by "The Sun King".

Grande la regia ideativa di questo Don Chisciotte e l'eccellente ambientazione.IN questa lunga narratio si apprezza anche una alta cifra di attorialita ' e commedialita ' enfatica MOLTO gradevole oltre alla riconduzione del ritmo danzante alle svariate situazionalita ' narrative, la qual cosa rimane una delle più difficili ma che è attuata mirabilmente dai protagonisti.Ottimo il senso del continuum dato Alla fabula danzante da tutti i protagonisti: dalla comunicazione dell'esprit de joie della danza al pathos astante e praesens.Da consigliare ad adulti e bambini.Superlativi Tutti i protagonisti agenti in proscenio.Bighin GIULIO RENZO

I see that in the old days they acted and danced, they surrendered to the character, but now they are all cold looking only for the perfect step and they don't express themselves they don't surrender they look like dancing statues!

Here we are introduced to Baryshnikov's own Don Richard Schafer. He's an attention-grabber, but he's no substitute for Misha. How many are? There's the late Patrick Bissell making the most of his special solo. Baryshnikov himself called Patrick, "One of the brightest lights in the entire ballet world." He ruined his career and his life with drugs. He was gone too soon...

Это ужасно. В России любой провинциальный театр балета играет лучше . В США постоянных театров нет- у них это неприбыльно, видите ли... Вот и результат- не труппа, а сборная солянка.
