The Governor of Illinois needs to declare a disaster and shutdown the Village for reason of public safety. Here in California, the CHP - State Police is patrolling the streets of Oakland, the Governor of Illinois needs to shutdown the Dolton Police Department and use the State Police to patrol the streets. There is ample evidence that there is systemic incompetence to make this a matter of public safety.

Well said. It really is 100% larger than Tiffany, but Tiffany is also probably the current #1 example of local government corruption and the slow system of justice that can destroy a community. Dolton is a part of Thornton Township. Tiff is mayor of Dolton and Supervisor of Thornton Township which is total of 17 municipalities. This is a huge problem and already claims exist of alleged comingling of funds.
