If we pay Tua and he sucks in big games , we just keep running it back? Building back up around him?

Having been present for the past 25 years of quarterback desert post Dan Marino, I do understand the importance of competent QB. The Dolphins have so many high dollar contracts on the books, and will have more next year when Jalen Phillips and Jevon Holland are due. Tua has not really shown a killer instinct. I always felt the Dolphins had a shot as long as Dan Marino was in the game, and had the ball in his hands. I do not have that feeling with Tua. A few 4th quarter comebacks and playoff win (or two), and I would be more inclined to spend Ross's money.

I really think the Justin Herbert money is the one that bothers Tua the most and I don’t blame him one bit. Pay the man, and make sure he’s above Herbert.

It’s all about the “SALARY CAP” !!!! All this contract stuff is about you have to keep a competitive team together!!! Why did Brady win so many Championships? Partly because he gave up money to keep the team competitive!

Tua is represented by Ryan Williams and Austin Lyman of Athletes First. Christian Wilkins has same agency. Looks like same pattern. If Dolphins use 5th year option. He will need to ball out like Christian. Hold-in during camp. Comply when he has to when season begins. Free Agent next year. How many teams will bid for Tua? I think not many. Lots of QB's drafted this year. Does he get ragged doll with weight loss? Concussions? Or All Pro Season? Failure might get GM Chris Grier fired.

No I disagree tua should be paid More than $42 million because his stats warrant that out of ALL the top QB’S he is First in 4 of the 5 stats that is most important tua is head and shoulders above them so based on that alone his value is in the $50 plus Million, I would say $ 52 million at the lowest and after this 2024-2025 season Miami going be happy with that price because his value will be in the $57 Million that’s how confident we are in his potential ability and talent, he will continue to grow to as a Top Tier QB

1 year out 4 healthy...29td and 20 turnovers in one full season and Tua earned 42 million a year? Sam Howell was at one point leading league in passing and was sacked 65 times in WSH. Tua arm strength is below NFL standards. No one should be getting more than Mahomes..Tua is a used BMW at small dealership...over priced and breaks down after when you leave lot. Lemon Law should apply towards Tua.

I could regard your opinion regarding quarterbacks, but Tyreek Hill's opinion weighs a little more. Also, I don't care if he's paid more than Herbert or not, quarterbacks in this league are generally overpaid. But Tua clearly has the respect of teammates, I don't see any of them beating down the door to go to L.A.
