As Hawaii residents, I strongly encourage you to read the New York Times Bestseller “Voices in the Ocean” about dolphins, to understand how tragic it is for them to be in captivity, and how these “experiences” get their dolphins from The Cove (also a good movie to watch). Hope a bit of education makes you reconsider leaving this video up, and promoting experiences that exploit the Hawaiians’ aumauka in the future. Take care. Mahalo.

100% agreed. I was going to stay at the Kahala hotel until I saw the “dolphin lagoon”. I refuse to spend money at a business that exploits animals like this.

I was told these dolphins were rescued, and they even had a baby here in captivity. I didn't go in the water with them, but stayed around afterwards and they came up and communicated with me, playing hide and seek. That was really special. That Cove in Taijii is really disgusting, those Japanese hunt them for 6 months of the year. Protest against this as much as you can. Luckily, the dolphin message system seems to be working, hardly any showed up this year....serve these wicked people right!

I did the encounter at the Waikoloa location about 10 years ago - I loved it so much I brought my Grandchildren about 2 years later and they still talk about it until today!! Expensive but it is really a unique extra! Mahalo for making this video.

Very glad I got to see this video. Because of price I don't think I'm going to book this experience on this visit. But if we go to Hawaii again, it'll be a must. But we've already got so many great things booked based on the Just Be Out videos!!! Thanks guys

How were you able to take a video of your encounter? Me and my husband did this and they didn't allow us to take videos. It's a little expensive but we enjoyed it.

We explained it in the video, we were working in collaboration with dolphin quest to be able to bring this information to our viewers.

This video was kinda of like a education piece, kinda disappointing this time. The employee talked a long time. Maybe cut the talk down from the employee next time. Been really enjoying yr other videos so much 👍🏾
