we have had this pool cleaner for 4 years, it is excellent and makes cleaning the pool so easy!
I just ordered one and cannot wait for it to arrive.
I got the same one after 3 years in using it just feel like new .Amazing product . Love mine

Great review. Just bought one for our gunite pool for this season.
I have this product. It is a great product. My pool guy is in and out now. I normally have him vacuum out the hot tub and check the chemical levels for the pool.
Being a pro pool cleaner this IMO is still the very best robotic for your pool. Great water proofing on electrical parts and bearings. Just ordered a new one as my last got stolen and was over 2years old and it was still working as good as the 1st day I bought it with heavy daily usage. 10/10 for this robotic cleaner!

What about the steps? Didn't really see it cleaning the steps.
So it goes above the water line on the walls and keeps calcium from building on the water line? What does it do when it is full of dirt?
Good review. Thank you. Thank you for showing it does the waterline. Mine does the walls and waterline and the bottom. Yes readers...it does it all and more. It is not advertised to do the waterline but it does it and quite well.
The "1" setting doesn't mean it will run for 1 hour, 2 for 2 hours. It is a programing button for how often the Dolphin will clean the pool throughout the week. They are different cycles.

What type & length of warranty does a new one come with?

How deep is your pool?. Im looking for 1 and my pool goes to 8ft

WHERE IS THE WASTE TANK? WHERE DO THE LEAVES AND ACORNS GO?
Maybe use a baby gate to block it from going to the island?
Is there no danger of electrocution?
Is there a way to block the dolphin from trying to go up the stair which it would stuck.

Mine never got stuck on the stairs, it might have a sensor to know it’s out of water and it goes back in
I have a problem with this product that got on one of stair and then flip over side way and stuck. multiple times.

Hmmm not sure, one thing you can do is give the maximum cable slack so it cant go up the stairs… so keep the control unit in the opposite side with limited cable slack
You need to show how the filters come apart and how to wash them.
I bought the same one at home from Amazon trying to save money. but it not clean well after 3 month. Trying to return, but they don’t allowed. Need hire a pool guy $95 each month and Put in the garage until now.

Contact Maytronics. These things come with a 2 year warranty. They’ll take care of it
the directions say to put it in the water before turning it on.
can it be used for above ground pools?

Yes shouldn’t be a problem but you might have to clear it out more frequently.

With this, I haven’t seen my pool dirty ever since I got it.
Does it get stuck on the pool drain? My Sigma does... Constantly

No i never had it stuck there. Try splitting the suction, it might be too strong in the drain
Must be nice. Ours isn't a year old and went to fire it up.today for the first clean, and power turns on, and right back off in 3secons. If I un plug the blue cord that runs to the dolphin, and turn power supply on, it stays on, and allows you to push 1 2 3 and stays on. Screw the blue cable back into power and it shuts off the power again. For thr money these are, they should be far more reliable. We had a shark and that thing was bullet proof the 5 or 6 years we had it. Thougt this would be bettwr
Very nice review. But the 1 button means it cleans once a day; 2 button every other day and 3 button is every 3rd day.

Very Misleading On Wall Climbing if your looking for a product that you want to go to the Waters line
Add a doggie barrier. (No metal or very little).
Good review but lose the background music
Maybe it’s me but the floor of the pool doesn’t look very clean 🤷🏼♂️

My pool floor is old. If it was blue the water would loook cleaner. But its white, the pool is clean tho!
All the dolphins suck for one main reason. They only turn one direction and the cord gets completely tangled up. Why a $1000 to $1300 vacuum with WiFi and a control box is not smart enough to turn left then turn right is beyond me. Just plain laziness on the part of the programmers. Until they fix the programming or give us access to the basic controls I would say stay away from all dolphin products. Total pain in the butt.
This is a piece of junk…mine lasted 2 years
