My daughter played this song in her room every morning before school. She's been moved out for twenty years and now lives far away in Alaska. But when I hear this song, she's still in her room getting ready for school. RIP Delores!!!

It's been 3 years since Dolore's departure, and I still can't believe it nor accept it. I grew up listening to her precious music. She meant the world to me when I was like 15 or 16. When I was down, she was always there to give me a hand and something to believe in through her music. Dolores had an unparallaled talent. I love many female artists from many different genres, but Dolore's the only one that deserves the title of The greatest female artist of the last 3 decades. Her voice, the way she shared so many feelings and profound ideas through her songs, that unique essence she had... Always be remembered and always the best for me.

Is it silly that I still cry over the loss of Dolores? How is it possible that her music can touch the very core of me and she not ever know who I am. I don't think she really had any idea of just how much she meant to us. She makes me proud to be an Irish American. Due to Zombie, I read up and educated myself on the history of my homeland and it made me cry. People should not have to die over their choice of religion. My mother was a Lynch and could possibly be descended from hero Liam Lynch. I wish nothing but peace and prosperity for my motherland of Ireland. I'm proud to be your son.

I get a sick feeling inside when the thoughts of her absence creep into my mind, particularly when I listen to and acknowledge how talented as well as beautifully graceful and down to earth or even worse watch a video. You can clearly see how unassuming and perhaps a little shy when talking to a tv host before and after their performance. It might just be me but I'm glad I don't see too many comments where people compare Dolores to Sinead O`Conner. Both ladies have strong beliefs but we all know which one repeatedly looked like a psychopath on live TV.

I love how her songs meant so much without having to say it out loud. That is why so many people feel grieving from her death, she talked about sadness, pain, love, pleasure and happiness in her songs. I cried a lot when I heard the news, because she's been such an important part of my teenage Years. Through her music I survived dépressions, she took care of me like a mother and by making my pain hers through her voice, did heal me and lighten my burden in those times. So Dolorès, thanks for talking softly to my ears when everything around was just painful and meaningless... You'll live within us forever. Love.
