Would love to see you check out the very similar Silver Dollar City in Branson. In fact, DollyWood used to be called Silver Dollar City East.

I sure love the sound of the train whistles and the special song for your Mom!! Old type churches are pretty cool!! Thankful for Christmas, without Jesus we would not be be celebrating Christmas!! And yes I celebrated with the our chidren and now with the grandchildren! Thank you Adam!

The man you couldn't make out on the poster was Sylvester Stallone. The movie was Rhinestone Cowboy. Hysterical movie.

Our family took its first trip to Dollywood in June of this year. The park is amazing and we were lucky to see Dolly Parton, who was in the park that day.

I'm 35 and lost both my parents already. You are so lucky to still have them around and take them places. I wish I could do the same but it makes me so happy to see you make memories with your parents.

Hi Mom, Hi Dad! We want to see Ms. Dolly Parton, the magnificent one. Used to see her on the Porter Wagoner Show. The reason we would watch Porter and his fancy duds (clothes) was Dolly. But truth be told, Porter would dazzle us every week with those eye jarring sparkly outfits of glory.

Dollywood is one of the best parks for Christmas! I highly recommend!

This place looks so great compared to the madness of Disney. And I love the theming.

i live in jax beach, FL and taking a long break from wdw. and went to the smokeys and dollywood. surpassed my expectations and more. such a lovely park and water park. long drive but i didnt mind it because it was so different that what my family is used to in FL. i recommend going! the ticket prices arent bad at all.

The Christmas in the Smokies show is a must! It’s wonderful! Seeing the show for the first time each season marks the beginning of the Christmas season for me!

So glad your parents got to visit Dollywood! Their Christmas lights display is so expansive. I think the biggest I've personally seen aside from the Osborne Family Lights.

It looks so charming for Christmas! I want to go so badly! Only a 12 hr. drive here from Dallas. Love when your parents join you. They give me all the warm feelings like Miss Dolly does.

Adam, I am glad to see that you and your parents enjoyed Dollywood for the Christmas festivities. Here's a tip: When we were there about 4 years ago, we were given a tip that you can park your car at Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge and buy a round trip ticket on the trolley that goes to Dollywood, and ride the trolley there and back and save a lot of money. 4 years ago it was $3.00 each way per person. So for us we spent $18 and saved $7 by not parking in the Dollywood parking lot. Not much of a savings but the trolley ride is fun too.

The bass singer from the kingdom heirs is named Jeff Chapman and he just celebrated his 20th year with the group. He is widely regarded as the best bass singer In the industry. His normal voice is as deep as singing (also I believe friends with will and dawn). This is the groups 37th year at the Park which is basically unheard of to be signing gospel that long in a secular theme park. One of the reasons Dollywood is so great is it has shows like them for the senior citizens that don’t care about the rides.

That cinnamon bread sure looked mighty tasty and so did the kettle corn and the pork rinds, Adam. Love seeing you and your parents having a blast together. That’s the most interesting train ride I’ve ever seen. Better than Disneyland’s train ride. Thanks for taking us there thru this video. ❤️🙏🏻

We went to Dollywood for my daughter's birthday, she is a December baby. Had a GREAT time. W stayed at the Dream More Hotel (Dolly's Hotel) for Christmas, we had snow on Christmas Eve, it was beautiful.

Just FYI if you didn't get the blue cheese stuffed olives, and find some again get them they are great. Also, Chow chow is a pickled concoction you can put on almost anything. I like it on burgers. It can have corn, onions, cucumbers and the like in it. It comes spicy and mild(I'm a mild girl myself.)

I love chow chow...it is chopped green tomatoes, cabbage, onion, and peppers while others can contain carrots, beans, cauliflower, or peas. Pickled in a jar and served cold as a condiment

It has always been my dream to go to dollywood. but, better than that to meet Dolly . because I have loved Her singing, Her kindness and bubbly sense of humor. Thankyou Adam for all of the wonderful videos that you have made, and this one too,

i just love your Mama, she just makes me smile . I'm from the UK but one year im definitely heading to Dollywood for Christmas.

When I was 7 in 1973, parents & I went to 'Goldrush Junction' - which would later become Dollywood. It opened as 'Rebel Railroad'. Anyway, driving back to KY thru Smoky Mountains, our Oldsmobile Delta 88 overheated on the hills. We stopped at an overlook wide spot for Dad to fix it, just as a family w bunch of kids started screaming there was a big black bear coming up the hill towards the overlook. We hightailed it out of there when park rangers stopped traffic to let the bearS (3 + 2 cubs) wander across the road and on up the hill. Love seeing Woo Family enjoying time and making memories! Thanks for letting us tag along! Ps: There's an open year-round Christmas store on the main drag between Dollywood and Sevierville worth a visit for holiday decoration shoppers/browsers. Prices are about 25% less than in PF and Dollywood Christmas shops, and you can ship your purchases home/wherever from there, too.

There's Yankee In The South at Dollywood, but then there is Adam, The Woo at Dollywood. Thanks for being the pro that you are Adam and bringing us a better Dollywood experience.

We first visited Pigeon Forge in the early 1980s when Silver Dollar City was there. We went back many times (for a few years every summer and at least every other summer). I went back in 2014 and was amazed at the changes. We never got there during Christmas. Thanks for sharing this time with your parents with us.

@@asianprince8718 Oh, yes. It has changed so much. Outside of Silver Dollar City, Ogles Water Park and the Giant Maze were the two biggest attractions there the first couple of years we went there. Neither one of those are there. There was also a waterski show that no longer exists. When I returned in 2014, I was amazed at how different it was from the last time I had been there in 1996.

Brought back some good memories of Dollywood when living in Tennessee. That cinnamon bread is awesome.

My wife and I were at Dollywood for the first day of fall and we absolutely loved it. The fall theming was beautiful and the lights at night were incredible. We rode the train twice, the first of the day and the last. We missed riding a few rides so we'll be going back. We love this park, we had a perfect day.

knowing what i know about lightning rod. one of the best coasters ive ridden. i feel lucky to be able to ride it knowing that it breaks down a lot. i was placed in the front row on the first ride. line started early you could tell. i waited in standard line too.
