I agree that the eye changing feature is awesome! I think younger collectors/ toy players would really enjoy this doll. The yellow marker ink looks really cool on her skin tone! Awesome review!

I haven't seen this doll yet. Gooliope looks so small compared to her! I wish she had articulation like the Frightfully Tall ghouls, but I do like her eyes. Very helpful review.

thank you for an actually rather thorough review of this, im looking into buying one of these to customize so knowing things like the material of the doll and the way the joints move is helpful.

Great review, I did not get her when I saw her because of the price. It is interesting seeing her eyes and I also love how the marker looks on her skin. The fake feet and fake knee joints are disappointing, as is the thin hair. Thank you for the helpful review! Also, your dress looks awesome.

Great review. Thanks. I was so excited when I heard about the doll a few months ago and thought I'd jump at getting her, but she hasn't fit into the doll budget yet, so I've put her off. I still want her, but I am on the fence about her value at retail price because the quality looks pretty low in many areas. I'm hoping WalMart discounts her after Christmas. Her eye mechs really are the selling point to me since she is so lacking in articulation and I didn't realize her shoes aren't removable. I can't imagine that saved them that much money in making her. Still, she's unique and has more good qualities than bad. I love how she's displayed in the video with the regular MH doll and Gellington. It actually kind of made me want her more.

Great review- a lot more informative than other reviews of this same doll I've seen. Yeah the glowing spectra with the sound effects- ghouls alive i think- has that weird seam on her scalp at the top of her forehead too. I have no idea. makes about as much sense as molding the knee joint on a doll with non articulated knees. Seriously whats up with that? For all that leave that awkward rectangle shape off the legs. It might be an honest mistake but im suspicious that mattel wanted to fool the consumer into thinking they were getting a huge articulated doll to pose etc to try and make the price seem more reasonable. $50 for a doll like this ? nah not worth it. this doll is not really for looks or display, its very much a play doll so beyond the markers and hair styling this doll will get pretty beaten up within the year. $30 is a much more reasonable price and these more expensive MH items usually get pretty low if you're patient. I know the astranova set was pretty pricey and is now about $30 in some places.

not having a knee joint is literally the only reason i wont buy one. it wasn't hard to make jointed knees. i love the size of the doll. also not actually having feet is a turn off as well :( she isn't made by mattel. i don't remember the company, but it says on the box. i really hope if their is more, these are fixed :)

I saw her in Walmart's , but I decided not to buy her because of the faux jointed knees. she has a pretty face though... Great review,

I have the 28" skelita and I was gutted that her knees were not articulated, I wonder if there's a DIY way of making the knees bend🤔

I think shes actually made by just play Just like the my best friend Barbie.

+Hekky Bloom Yep. You're right! Walmart just said 'Monster High', so I assumed it was Mattel. Whoops!

her shoes are removable, but takes the strength of Hercules to pull them off, and she doesn't have actual feet, it's weird and I can't really describe what they look like.

I live in England too, you can get these from Smyths toys online for about £50 at the moment. Toys R Us have some larger Monster HIgh dolls on sale too.

candi covers they use to be in Asda for £25 but you can now get them in smyths for £45 at the moment. think they was a very good price at £25 it's a shame asda sold out of them so fast. they had them in stock in the winter of 2015. but they are currently on smyths website in stock at £45.
