I feel that that picture was put up only for clicks. And I don’t like that in a content creator. I’m hoping going forward in the future that you will not put up pictures or titles just for clicks. I love Dolly. She has an amazing history and voice. She’s never pretended to be all real. She told us she had big wigs, lots of make up. She’s been truthful about herself. That makes us love her. She’s been a loving person to others.

Don’t believe everything you see or hear!

Dolly is not bald. Lol she does have thin hair. She her and her hubby use to park their RV at a RV park where I lived in Tennessee. She could go shopping get out in public and nobody would recognize her. She looks entirely different without make up big hair and flashy clothes. They may still park their RV at the park. I don't know as i moved out of the little town. Her voice is so unique that she didn't talk much in public because people would recognize her. Let me add this.she is still beautiful just being plain.

During the height of the pandemic when many celebrities were whining about how bored they were in their luxurious mansions, Dolly was telling bedtime stories to kids online for frazzled and stressed out parents and donated 1 million dollars to the creation and research development of the Moderna vaccine! She was thinking about others, trying to help out. Grounded and practical - included giving money to help with the vaccine.She's an absolute gem and gracious humanitarian!I really respect her.

Dolly is a most wonderful gal. She has been the sweetest country music show biz gal ever. No matter how tough life got she overcame it. I love her music, her ways and her faithfulness to Mr. Dean. No one could make these claims like Dolly can. I pray for good health and greater love to both Dolly and Carl.

My impression is Dolly not only have a beautiful voice her heart is even bigger and more beautiful.

Many years ago I was lucky to have met her. My father before passing was quite a successful Country singer/songwriter although British and massive in the UK in his own right he also toured the States, Australia and so on alongside many big country names but although getting to work with people like Reba and Waylon he never got to work with his first and only love Dolly. Fast forward a few years we were sat in a British radio station BRMB during an interview with the lovely late great Kenny and a then very young not so well known Shania, not so much in the UK anyway and in walked Dolly. I thought Dad was going to pass out there and then, this was the guy that topped the bill in front of 65 thousand people the week before at the Americana festival (possibly one of the biggest country music events on the British calendar. I often think back to that afternoon, Kennys smooth soft speaking voice with Dolly and Shania giggling away mainly laughing at my dad's obvious discomfort. I was in my late 20s then, am mid 30s now so was a good while ago. Sadly both my parents have passed now but my siblings and I have some amazing memories thanks to these very humble and kind stars and boy did we get to meet and work with some wonderful people during our Country music days.

Hi Enigmawyoming5201! How wonderful to be graced by God! When I say that I mean Dolly Parton! I kind of think of her as the embodiment of Christ on Earth! Okay, puhshaw! Maybe not that fantastic, but she is amazing Wyoming! I have never witnessed a woman blessed with such enviable beauty, as well as, the gift to write her own songs and songs for others. But it doesn't stop there, Dolly has the innate ability to sing her songs, as well as others, with such palpable sincerity and grace that everyone has heard her or one of her songs! Heck, Wyoming, she is an enigma too! I just posted a comment about this guy's video (the one we are commenting on) being slightly flawed. If you care, please reply, because it is a huge faux paus--okay not huge! Dolly adopted me whey I was 40 I try all her wigs didn’t fit me

I became her fan after listening to her music plaued on the radio in the 1980s here in south africa. Since then, i started buying her albums. I recently bought "Dolly" and Dolly sings gospel. The legend lives on.

It was Porter Wagener who gave her a big start before she was 20, not Johnny Cash.

Dolly is a good person period.

I've meet Dolly years ago and she is a down to earth and can talk and joke with anyone. Personally all the gosph true or not will not change my opinion of her. If I was so lucky I feel I would be just like her husband. I am not a person that likes big crowds and not like to be in the lime light. I know how I am so its not hard for me to believe they have a very open and honest relationship. GOOD FOR THEM. LIVE LONG AND ENJOY!

Sending love and prayers to Dolly and Carl ....I know this has got to be devastating for her. Dolly is the best.

My husband told of meeting Dolly at a local fair. His girlfriend at the time was into horses in training and raising them. Dolly actually borrowed her horses for the song mule skinner. He told how great it was to meet her and how kind and friendly she was. I kind of understand what she's going through now. I lost my husband to cancer in 2005. It was horrible to watch. But there is no way I would have ever been anywhere else

I have always loved Country Music especially when Dolly sings in her own country style. She's my favourite. She has such a warm nature and that smile is captivating. Thankyou for sharing her story with us.

I won, "Third Place," in the Yelm Pioneer Days parade, when I entered as, Dolly Parton ❤️ (Some 46 years ago or so)😅 I wore one of my grandmother's long, blonde wigs. She looked very much like our beloved, Dolly ❤️ God rest her precious soul.

I love the song coat of many colors. It’s reminds me of my own childhood.I love Dolly.

Ms. Parton once told a story about Porter Wagoner when he became ill & virtually lost everything. She said she bought his whole songbook for an undisclosed amount of money. She never used any of his songs in her shows. One day, after Wagoner had started getting back on his feet, physically & financially, he called her, & asked if he could buy his songbook from her. She told him she was waiting for this day to come, & she sold the whole thing to him for $1.

MS. PARTON'S LOOK IS MOST UNIQUE AND INDIVIDUAL. WHERE OTHERS HAVE FAILED, SHE HAS SUCCEEDED. SHE IS A GREAT HUMANITARIAN TOO.

Brought some memories back listening to this. I was fifth in a family of eleven children. We grew up on the farm and worked hard. The older kids looked after the little ones. We slept three and sometimes four to a bed…and I know what it is like when one of the kids wet the bed! My husband and I of almost 50 years so far, have four children…in which two of our daughters absolutely love Dolly. We are Christians and grew up in the church and our faith means a lot to us. God bless and keep Dolly and Karl.

Porter Wagner, was a horrible immature, male. Jealousy was his fuel for his ignorance and disgusting actions. Like many people, he just needed and wanted her money. Yet Dolly is the one that was gracious enough to forgive him for his awful behavior before he passed. Dolly is a smart, beautiful woman inside & out. @@gabrielletaylor4836 I think I would think on that for a while. My wife has thin hair also. She has tried everything and has no good results. Her hair loss is from medications she has been on.

You can expect people to talk when you are beautiful inside and out! She is a lovely person, whom no one has ever found one horrible thing she has ever done.

Dolly is amazing and always looks fabulous. She has a wonderful voice and big heart. I grew up poor too, and was bullied. My clothes were from the dump. I will always love Dolly!!

The story should tell it about Dolly Parton is a like a lot of people in those times lived I remember us kids sleeping in the same bed to try to stay warm waking up with frost on the nails on the inside of the room because we didn't have wallboard or anything of that sort of it was just the boards from the outside of the house the nails that came through and people did pay the doctors with Goods depending on what the farmer had that they could afford to give to the doctor and when we slept in one bed we would get peed on it was a normal occurrence and not having any running water or shower made it very difficult to clean yourself good and not smell like that pee from the night before
