Um what? Nobody was even going to talk about the gift to your nephew. Nobody cares where you buy the gifts. You always address noncontroversial points and give a huge explanation about them. Why not address how your mom wanted that mascara, and even though you have plenty of your own, you decided to purchase the one that she wanted for yourself? Now that is selfish, and when you get criticized about that, it is not "hate", it is completely warranted. You act like you get "hate" for no reason, and poor you when in fact you bring it on to yourself.

I understand and kinda agree on the laat part I thought that mascara was going to be for her mom, but she has thousands of viewers you can't speak for all of them there might be that one idiot that does bring that up! I think since she has been here for so long it's like a defense mechanism, address the hate before she gets hated on.

Alexandra Castro Yes there might be that ONE person, but she doesn't care about that ONE person, hate gets to her when comments have a lot of "thumbs up" and are on top and a lot of people agree with it or comment on it. That is the only hate she cares about, and I base this on the videos that she has made about the hate that she gets and she singles out the top comment about it too. She doesn't even notice those "one" comments. So I guess my point was that there wouldn't be enough people commenting on that, that it would be on the top and that she would even notice. So she didn't need to address it.

I HATE when people say "dollarama only has cheap stuff" because 95% of their things are VERY high quality!

To all pet owners---- Pet dishes should only be stainless steel or glass. My vet told me anything else is harmful to pets and can cause breakouts/allergic reactions they are toxic (ceramic glaze and paint). So I hope MY helpful comment doesnt get lost among all the hater comments.

I swear I'm not trying to be mean but I'm watching this video and my mom walks in to give me some mail and she overheard "adding this to my hello kitty collection" so she peeks over and is like "Oh who's that?" and I explained and then she was like "A 24 year old lady... Collecting Hello Kitty stuff that is just clutter, useless and is something a 5 year old would do!" and she laughed so now I'm just sitting here thinking... It is pretty weird that Sam is 24 and still collecting not even real branded Hello Kitty things that just go on a shelf... Like really what's the point? Actual question. My mom's not a mean person she just found it funny and it is pretty true haha. I don't know, wanted to just share my thoughts! (watch me get attacked by a bunch of 10-18 year olds now haha).

I guess you can't really understand why someone does those things unless you collect something yourself. Like, I collect spongebob stuff. Coloring books, stickers, pencils, lights, keychains, etc. and I leave them on a shelf. It's nice to look at, in my opinion. You get to watch it grow. Did you know there's a world record for the most collected items? So, I guess it just depends on your lifestyle.

You say you're not trying to be mean then you insult a wide array of people who are adult Hello Kitty fans. That's like saying "I'm not trying to be mean, I swear, but here is a punch in the face". There are Hello Kitty items for all ages; I am 37 and have two friends in their 50's who also love Hello Kitty. My mother is 60 and wears Hello Kitty watches. I have a large collection of Loungefly Hello Kitty Handbags and receive MANY compliments on them by grown women. To answer your question, the point of collecting it is because it's cute and people like it. It's a hobby for many people.

girl, can I make a recommendation... get your cat some good stainless steel bowls for food and water. Cats can bust their teeth on the ceramic and the ceramic ones aren't as healthy, some cats react and you don't know it. the stainless steel one's are not expensive either. :)

In her other video her kitten was eating out of what looked like a stainless steel bowl :) She probably just got the ceramic dish for his milk. (It's the video called psycho kitten or something)

Sam I agree with you about the presents for your nephew! I brought my nephew 2 big angry birds plushies for Christmas and they were only £1 each and he played with them more than his 'big' present! It's the thought that counts not the price

So inspiring to see you're going back to school and moving forward rather than being dissapointed with how things went! You're spreading a great message, and alot of people wouldn't be as happy and optimistic as you. (: Also, it's nice to see you're not ashamed at shopping at non mall stores and finding decent stuff. Loved the outfit in this video!

Samantha, you're gonna love that Aquafina lip balm! I have one similar to it (mine is in a tube and you spin it) and it is amazing! It's the only lip balm I've been using for a while. It lasts a really long time & it's super hydrating...idk I got really excited when you pulled that up because I have something similar LOL

I always go to family dollar or dollar tree to shop for birthdays and holidays. Not because im cheap but because I haven't had a job since I was 16 (summer job and now im only 18) and try to find cool thingsmy family members would like and find really cool. My family prefers it because they know I dont have much money to spend and feel bad wi spend all of what I have on them. Not to mention they never go there so they dont know what they might get. Plus I get them one or two "expensive" items from a better known stpre that they have been wanting. They love it more and it takes more imagination. Ily sam!

Hi sam! I'm not sure if you'll see this but i wanted to let you know, the folders that are covered in glitter are amazing but when you hold them in the same place over and over, the glitter starts to wear, it's not a big deal, i just wanted to tell you so you know!! :) I love your videos! Xo

I could see how some people may hate thinking oh its cheap to shop at dollarama, but I don't think there's anything wrong with it its not like a dollar store where everything is only 1 dollar and low quality some of the items are 3 + and decent. plus like she said if you're satisfied with the purchase it doesn't matter how much you spent or where you got it. plus you never know what people may say ive seen loads of hate on her videos before, so I don't think it was wrong of her to bring up her nephews gift, shes basically saying go ahead and hate if you're going to or even if you're not dollarama has good finds and she likes it there.
