Very cute! Two things I love, Mason jars and succulents!!
Just lovely, and it looks like you had so much fun, you couldn't stop!!!
Simply adorable & I love succulents/ cactus
Love this. I appreciate that you sped through it instead of belaboring each point. I'd love to see a tutorial on the box. TFS!!

Love it!! I'm so obsessed with the Dollar Tree succulents! I made some of those last year with the potted ones! I'm so jealous you found the succulent picks! I've been to a dozen dollar trees with no success. I guess I'll have to settle for the potted ones until then! Lol

I grabbed them the second I seen them, but the boxes I've checked since then have all been empty too. I was just wondering if they could be ordered from their website?? Those pre-potted succulents were great too though!!!
As far as the boxes I have had great success at my local goodwill , found a woven box and a wooden one .

I recently purchased several $4.00 grab boxes from Michael's where there were many succulents in the little pots, but they are the "Picks", so all I have to purchase is the chalk paint, gravel & the floral foam...It's going to be relaxing & fun!!!

Cool you got SO much nice material, did you know that Succulents are great as Bonsai? They are easy, beautiful and not that demanding in lightlevels if put in normal daylight/windowsill light... /Bonsai Talk

Now I need to check! I know I wouldn't mind having more. They would be so cute out on my front porch and back patio. And no watering needed! How great is that!?
The jars are pretty. I have a video scheduled on this too but the style is different. Brilliant minds think alike, huh?

What size were the jars that you used, and can you give measurements of the front and back board of the wooden box or I guess just the front board and duplicated these are beautiful I've got to make these thank you
These were very pretty, but I would like to see them with moss around the bottom instead of the rocks.

I see you prefer brown as a base coat for your distressing over black. Is there a reason or just what you like?
I love these. Could you please explain how to paint the jars?

Yes! I'd love to do a tutorial on those as well! It is a process, but they turn out so nice

I would say white and tan or a brown to match whatever the wood would be for the jars to sit in or you can use acrylic paints from apple something I forget the brand name but they’re only 1.00 each. If you use a poncer brush(round foam head) they dry without a streak. If you use a paint brush you can achieve the streak look. Either way when u use acrylic paint, use at least 2 coats and let each coat dry for at least 20 minutes before proceeding.
Could you tell me exactly what size jars you used? Just wondering if they are pints or quarts. Def. going to make these!
@TheDailyDIYer
7 жыл бұрын
These are regular pint size in the video. You could also use the wide mouth pint jars if you wanted to see more of the white rock on top. Hope that helps! Best wishes with your project!
nice...
Lindo!
you never said where you got the prepainted and distrissed mason jars, if you bought them that way, or diy, and how tall they were (it is hard to guage size). Also, did you make the lumber holder, if so, what are the dimensions, where did you get the wood, etc. Otherwise, excellent. I need ALL the details, thanks so much.
