Those glass mason jars are actually cheaper at the dollar general…I picked up an etched butterfly one for $1 it’s so cute and they had other choices as well.

@@cooldog1994I always check Dollar General first before going to Dollar Tree. They have a full aisle of dollar stuff!

I agree….Dawn may cost more but it is so concentrated that it lasts 6 times longer that Dollar Store Dish Liquid.

The dollar store mitts have lasted me for years. I occasionally buy seasonal ones, but my oldest are 5 years old and still work.

I stopped buying their oven mitts after getting burned a few times. They are not thick enough. Unless they are making them better now.

Reminder that in most commercial birdseeds they contain red millet, which most birds won’t eat, and gets thrown when the birds go to feed. Which in turn causes it to sprout in your yard or garden basically turning into a massively invasive weed that takes ages to get rid of of because they produce so many seeds. Ask me how I know 😂 thankfully there are seed combos/bags that don’t always contain red millet, as well as specific brands that never contain it that will keep both your birds happy and your clean of pesky unwanted plants

@Shawty_pimpin Sure do! When you shop for seeds and feed make sure to look at the ingredients in the bags your buying or want to buy, on the back of the bag it should list out every type of seed inside the bag. If it doesn’t specifically list it (which it legally should) the bag should have one of those clear spots to see through it, if you look in it and see little reddish, round seeds, those specifically are the red millet seeds. Those clear windows are kinda blurry but once you see the seeds color they’re very easy to see. As for brands that (usually) don’t have red millet in them, for example there are brands such as Kaytee, or Audubon Park, or Wagners to name but a few. Some of them may not say wether or not they have red millet in them tho, so it’s best to look at individual bags ingredients list to make sure you get the right ones if you’d like. I hope this helps!

Same the smell is never there. Even when I buy them at Walmart but that's cause Walmart owns the dollar store. I go to Ross for candles cause they actually smell for a long time

I like to add unscented wax with wax cubes. I don't bother with dollar tree candles though and instead of filling a jar I fill a pretty tea cup or mug with the wax. I get the cups from thrift shops they are often like 50¢ each. You get a cute and unique highly scented candle for a couple of bucks and you can use the wicks from the unscented candles for the wick of the new candle. And you can match it perfectly to your tastes and/or decor buy picking the scent and the cup and it prevents waste.

The pot holders have always worked for me

Excellent Margarita glasses. Beautiful ceramic dinner plates---great selection of patterns.

The oven mits do work. We have been using ours for 3yrs.

You can always paint over any fonts on decor you don’t like.. I feel like I do it with every other piece I pick up😂 It’s like clothing.. You find the best item, and then find they put some stupid phrase on it, lol

The mason jar candle also smell really good. The dog rope balls are really good too, i have st. Bernard shepard who is a massive chewer, it's held up 10x better then the big pricy ones & he loves them.❤

You right on the dish soap I get ajax lime + vinegar or Palmolive yep dawn.

I like their small square potholders over the oven mitts-they are a great size -not too thick or thin and you can toss them in the washing machine.

Fun fact the Mason jar candles have no smell when you burn them

Idk what temp you’re cooking at…mf must be a 900 bc I have a oven mitt for every season and they all came from dollar tree and they’ve worked perfectly! I did buy them a couple years ago tho idk if they sell different ones now.

The birds go crazy for the suet bars, don’t forget the holder for them. And in summer get the bars that don’t melt. 💕💕💕

Maybe you could paint over the font a little bit so you don't have to see it 🤔

Those Margareta Glasses are such good quality and fire! They are great for deserts too!

Just a heads up on the suet… if you live in a warm climate that bad boy is gonna melt by noon. Keep it in a shady spot and if your birdies love it (which they will for sure) try looking for the “no melt” version ❤

We use the suet feed for winter. It can be messy in summer because of heat. The birds love it, so do the squirrels 🐦🐿️

Those plastic crinkle toys are great for my ex’s cat! She was blind and over 15 years old but would chase those crinkle toys around the house for hours. (Literally until she fell over from playing too hard)

I always get the candles in the jars, my DT never have the square bird food 😒 and I have the cats for it, if u don't have the cage just poke a toothpick through and put some jute/hemp through the hole and hang. Plus my DT never have any garden utensils except then scoop-sm shovel thing 😢

What you do is buy the Dawn “spray bottle” dish soap and when it’s gone buy whatever your favorite brand is and refill it mixed with some water…I do the same with hand soap…..it lasts so much longer and you’re still getting the same effect but that stuff is so concentrated and if I didn’t do it my kids would use dang near a whole bottle washing dishes and their hands twice lol (overkill) but hmmm I just thought I should do the same with body wash 😅

The new I Fly brand candle packs are good. I don’t understand the concept but maybe that’s why they are arriving to DT

What are you grabbing out of the oven? I've never had a problem with the oven mitts. Maybe if it was something big and heavy like a turkey it'd be an issue but basic baking is fine.

You’re better just to your dish soap from dollar general, cvs or Walgreens. They almost always have a coupon. Much better deals

Hey my parents own 12 parrots, if you want something wild birds would like try pellets youd give to a pet bird and seeds/nuts (unseasoned) and maybe fresh fruit if that doesnt attract bugs or other animals

Dollar tree candles have zero scent while burning don’t waste your money unless you want it for light!!

I hope to find the bird suet at my store. It is a lot less expensive than Home Depot.

The only thing that is hitting from the Absolutely Awesome brand is the oxy powder. I use that instead of bleach for my clothes

Two of their potholders burst into flame while I was taking a baking pan out of the oven. I did not touch the element, they just combusted. I threw away any others I had from Dollar Tree. Don't buy the potholders or oven mitts. The dishtowels are fine!
