As a spin from your shutter project -- could the slats be positioned as "overlapped" rather than "flat" (laid flat). [The top of slat 2 is positioned/laid on top of the previous slat, and #3 is positioned atop #2, etc.]. Think this would look more authentic. Could also create a mini barn door design. (Takes a little measuring to get it proportioned correctly -- but think would make a great project. Could add hinges and a door handle to simulate the complete look of an actual door). Like the plate -- and that it's black and a round shape (a very unique look)! It's great to see something other than a "white chalk paint" project!! Good job on letter positioning -- the trio makes a great addition to your wall display. Can see using the shutter project painted for Christmas -- adding a wreath in the middle.

Very cute!! A couple of tips to help for next time! Use olive oil on your hands to remove stain quickly. It sounds gross but it helps!! Also, only that kind of gorilla glue expands when it dries. Get yourself some gorilla wood glue instead, or just Elmer’s wood glue, and wet the wood a little before applying! Thanks for sharing!!

Love it! A tip for you..Gorilla glue expands, I don’t use it for that reason. You can buy the Gorilla glue that doesn’t expand and you want have that issue of it seeping out. 🙂

Bianca, I love all three! Love the Shutters. One question, you didn't have any little bud vases to put the greenery in on the shutters & a tealight or fairy lights to put in the bottom of the jar? Just asking. All three are beautiful! I would have had to use a piece of chalk or a paint marker to make the lines on the Welcome sign, I don't have a steady hand like you do. Hey, Tracy! Hope you had a great 4th of July! I actually did want to put a little vase, but I decided not to do that because I wanted the shutters to be lightweight. Mary Kay makeup remover will remove stain from your hands and porcelain tub without any problems. Figures this out unfortunately, because I accidental spilt half a can in our bathtub and with me trying to catch it, I got it spilt all over me!!!

😂 I was editing in my daughters room and recording a voiceover. So, there was definitely a lot of different noises from the kids in the living room and doors opening and closing. LOL
