A walk through Dollar Glen to Castle Campbell, then on to the top of King's Seat Hill, before dropping down Mill Glen to Tillicoultry.
Жүктеу.....

Thanks for this one Eddy. I was one of the surveyors that helped map the Dollar area for the Ordnance Survey maps in the late 1980's and developed a love for the area - so much so that we bought a house nearby. I haven't been up the glen for a few years and seeing this made me realise it's time for another visit.

Definitely something quite magical about the Ochils, especially that sudden steep southern face rising from the flat carse around the River Forth. Have a great 2020.

@@GuzziIan Not sure yet. Looking at a small walk in a park to get things up and running, then ... well, the world's our oyster.

Fantastic video, I left Tillicoultry as a child and 50 years later retired here in 2016, this is why I cam back...

Nice video. I went up to castle Campbell in September 2018, was a lifelong bucket list item for me given my family roots to the area. Going back in September 2020, I plan to keep hiking up the hill this time. Thanks for posting this!

Can't wait for the snow to give way so I can do some walks. I took my winter tyres off this weekend and gave my car a good cleanup so there is light at the end of the tunnel. I like that animated map at the beginning. Where do you get that?

It's called Route Generator. If you search for that on the internet you'll find it. I'll do a Go-Away-Snow dance for you.
