I love that the dress packaging is like "Not for other dolls!😡"

I actually collect the dollar tree fashion dolls, I like the more realistic head mold. Also the strap does go around the neck, you just have to pop her head off to get it on lol

I bought myself the elly Chan doll and I loved it and yeah some people find your channel "unusual" but don't mind them,just do what you like doing in this channel and I would love to see you do more of the licca Chan dolls 🌼

I was at a Daiso recently when I was vacationing in CA and I'm kicking myself for not picking up Elly-chan, or even just her kimono to put on my Hujoo.

I guess it's time I start collecting a few of these daiso dolls. I see them all the time at thrift stores in my area. The dollar tree ones are shockingly bad tho. They can be cheap as dirt but the head sculpt should at least be cute. The clothes are not much better but there are a few tops and dresses that are decent for a dollar.

Yeah, and I was in daiso recently and they had a surprisingly good collection. They are light years better quality than dollar tree, unfortunately

Love this comparison video. I've got to say, that sometimes stuff you can get at a Dollar Store can be so hit and miss. I've bought cheap stuff there (a garlic press, for example) that lasts and lasts, and it's a replacement for a $20 garlic press that broke after only a few months of use. And it seems to happen across the board. Toys, kitchen utensils, etc etc. That said, I've often looked at these dollar store doll clothes and wondered if they are worth buying. You know, sometimes a granddaughter would be just as happy with something like that. But the quality is so poor that it's a waste, even for a dollar. Then there are those weird looking dolls: the Japanese store dolls look better (makes you wonder whose facial features they are using for the "Barbie" doll knock-off. Looks like she did time in prison or something!) Finally, I'm sorry we didn't get to see Cinnamon.

Cinnamon rarely appears in the videos, and has gained a lot of weight. I have a new boy Siamese too who will no doubt interfere in the coming videos lol

I received two Elly dolls and a some clothes from Japan today, I'm in Milan and I paid 3 dollars for shipping for each item... 24 dollars only for shipping plus import taxes plus I waited for 3 freaking weeks LOL I'm so dumb and so scammed but there's no Daiso in Italy and they looked so cute in the pictures! Anyway they definitely are budget dolls, especially the hair quality is kind of sad, but they're pretty overall, the furisode/yukata is lovely, I got the pink one, same as you, and a blue one... the tiny zori shoes made me 😍 aaaw, they can be my Oshogatsu Barbie's little sisters. Of course I got the Japanese schoolgirl outfits too because duh, Japanese doll needs a sailor uniform 😄

I wouldn’t say you were scammed, if you don’t have a daiso store in your country then perhaps to just get the item it isn’t the worst! They are definitely cute dolls that are very displayable! (But see if you can get Licca-chan! Check out hobby link japan and they will sell her to you at cost :))

I have Elly Chan Doll and I'm totally satisfied at its lowest price

And yet the dollar store doll still has better clothes (which can be removed/changed) than many of the modern Barbie dolls.

The store is a Japanese 100¥ store, their version of a dollar store. It’s called Daiso! They have a lot of great stuff, which they tout as having “Japan Quality”. So see if there is a Daiso near you!
