I enjoy both... To me, the EDT is more suitable for daily wear, the EDP is more formal and classy. Both were love at 1st smell when they wew released. Thanks for the great comparison. 💪

This is why I’m a subscriber to the channel. I was waiting for this video. I purchased the Dolce & Gabbana “King” set last year & love it! The smell & presentation definitely stands out. I’ve received complements wearing the cologne. I’ll be buying the new version! Sorry I missed out on your original giveaway.. 👑

Well done Steven 👏! Your review is OUTSTANDING!, like always. I’ll add my thoughts: Overall D&G is doing what it supposed to do (Edt/Edp discussion) in this particular fragrance. I have them both, I love them both as well, my favorite is EdT though, I live in a +100 F State 😂, and EdT is just a MAGNET 🧲 of complements, it is a simple fragrance, it is quite unique, and performance is OK 👌, price is reasonable. MUST HAVE? I’ll yes! One Man fragrance: Yes as well, Signature scent: 💯. Nice video. I really like this one 👍

Haven't watched any fragrance videos for a while and haven't bought a fragrance in even longer. Time to get back into it with K edp!

If you own both the edt and edp and agree with redolessence opinion then swap the crown caps over because edp is King and should have the gold crown 🤴

Just upgraded to K EDT. Got it as a Christmas gift and I’m in love with it. I find it’s powerful, fresh and smooth.

You totally have me interested Steven.... lately you have been talking about K and even Carlos liked it . So hopefully I can get it for a good price before the hype train takes over on the price range

Thanks for sharing. This summer I really started liking fig based fragrances, so I want to try the EDP as a result of the fig milk. 👍🏿

Just picked up the EDP, haven't tried the EDT. Love the EDP, I really pick up on orange, lemon and lavender with woods in the dry down and light spicy nuances. I think this will be one of the best designer releases this year

I bought the EDT from a department store. I love it. Just ordered the EDP... I feel like the EDT drydown reminds me of Sauvage or even a fresh version of Ungaro III

I appreciate your take. Funny how scents smell differently on each person. I can't wear many scents. Most popular ones end up smelling like bug spray on me. I love K edt. It reminds me of a Norrell scent my mother wore when I was a kid. I tried the edp today. It smelled like coconut at first. I got a sample made to take home. The bag it was in smelled wonderful...but on me, ot now smells like rancid tanning oil! I'm glad I have the edt. I hope they don't get rid of it, since nothing seems to work on me since Calvin Klein got rid of Contradiction!

Try some strong scents with woody, musk or amber notes mate. You’ll smell great and these strong smells will surely overpower your body scent!

K Edt best ever,I own chanel bleu,versace homme and Dylan blue,but I always find myself reaching for this one,at work I get crazy compliments, followed by Dylan blue. My wife is crazy over the king. We are both using it now,we first layer it with Armani sí (oh my gosh) speechless

I didn't like the EDT smell good but lack of longevity so I just purchase the EDP is much better I like it allot thanks for your honesty reviews on the fragrance

Dolce& Gabbana K EDT is my favorite fresh fragrance. I also own Versace Pour Homme, Acqua Di Gio, Bleu De Chanel & Dylan Blue.

@anodyne I don't understand the hate either. To me, it smells a lot like Versace Man Eau Fraiche, but better and longer lasting. I heard the EDP is more of a darker, night time scent. I hope to sample it soon.

Great compassion video and I enjoyed it and i have a bottle of the original and I give it a 8.5 out of ten and I'm going to try the Edp and have a blessed day

Love the edp and if I had to pick one its defiantly the one, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I just flat out love the edt as well. It is so uplifting and just fresh but not like a run of the mill fresh scent to me, it really is a favorite reach of mine. But the edp is where its at totally, i have been in love with my bottle as of late

@@blackjack6979 If you do like 2-3 sprays in my experience I'm looking at maybe 5ish hours of projection. The opening will stay strong maybe 30-45 minutes or so and the opening imo is the best part of it since its a very unqiue opening cuz of the pimento and citruses. If i up it to like 6 or so sprays it can project effectivley for the whole day.

I like them both; the (EDT) Eau de Toilette, and the (EDP) Eau de Parfum. It all depends on whether you like your fragrance to be overpowering, and beast mode, or not. I tend to demand everyones utmost attention when I enter into the room; so I bought the EDP first. I would await for everyone to compliment me; respectively. I find the compliments to be very flattering; if you will. Therefore, if you don't like your fragrance to be overpowering, and beast mode, then Go EDT.

I use EDP for work or nigh out. The EDT for when going to gym outdoors or summers/weekends. They are both nice but need to be used in different scenarios.

Thank you for the view on D&G K parfum, Steven; I mentioned in another vid that I didn't much like the toilette edition, which I checked last year. I will grab a perfume sample for sure (but the whole bottle, that I'll have to think twice). I just recently found out that my ladies (wife and daughter) don't like any of the colognes/EDT/EDP that I like and buy. I brought home some of Creed's samples (Aventus/Aventus Cologne/Erolfa/Bois de Portugal/Royal Oud/Original Santal/Himalaya) and they selected Royal Oud and Original Santal as the most likable!) :-) So, definitely NOT the notes I like and enjoy :-)

I love both but I do prefer edp

Sampled both EDT & EDP and I still purchased the WRONG concentration 🤦🏽‍♀️! The EDT is so beautiful 🤩.

Not sure if it’s just me but when I got the scent in a sample from a catalog it smelled very light, the Eau de Toillete smelled better for me so I figured lemme smell it. When I bought it, it smelled like barely anything. It was fresh but a little sweet, but SUPERRRR light which disappointed me. I smelled the Eau de Parfum but it smelled more like sweet and creamy like vanilla. It was a sad disappointment for me sadly

I love the gold crown 👑 💛 ✨ 😍 😌 💕

Still getting used to the opening note in the EDP. Find the EDT a bit easier to wear. Kinda like em layered. EDT as top layer.

How Long DOES the edt last?

3:01 (my point exactly, after hearing that fragrantica dislikes k) When it comes to fragrance freaks. U can’t take their word for anything as far as what’s good to most ppl who smell you. The average person will love the original king. They are just psychos who are obsessed with every little mini note.

Unpopular take: EDT > EDP The EDP smells more alcohol in the opening. EDT opens on a fresher note because of the citrus.

D&G has very good fragrances but has an identical problem in fragrance making. The K is an effort to fix this problem but hasn't been successful. It seems D&G is aware of it but can't find the right way.

I’m a fan of Dior savage, Versace Dylan blue, bleu Chanel would you say EDT would be better for me?

I think sometimes you super fragrance experts have been sniffing too much chemicals all day because I think the EDT smells good I'll be getting the EDP also but for everybody watching you should try the EdT for yourself ... I lost count of how many fragrances I ended up liking that some KZreadr online said was no good... The longevity could definitely be better I agree with that
