Childhood favorite. Nobody knows the name or brand where I live, we just call it rabbit candy. We mostly say it in chinese though.

If I had to choose any of those old candies you used to eat as kids, 'little white rabbit' is probably the one I would still choose to eat now and then these days. Can't really handle the entire selection of Halloween classics, 99% of the ones I can recall to memory just feel nasty to eat.

I am looking at the rabbit. It looks like it doesn't want its candy to become creamy, and is running away.

This candy has becoming controversial in Malaysia because just recently, our religious authority has confirmed that this candy is non-halal because it contained non-halal ingredient. This was part of our childhood memories but because it is now non-halal, we can't eat it anymore.

If people ate a non-halal food without knowing it's non-halal, do they still bear the religious sin? Or if they ate it by accident, does that exempt them from eating contaminated food? I must have eaten thousands of these things and if I'm going to hell, I might as well have more fun beforehand.

  • @alifdanial8007

@@yeetcannon5907 disclaimer, I'm not a religious teacher but i think that: 1. No, it's not sinful because you didn't know about the ingredients. If you know the ingredients but still eat it, ofc it's sinful. 2. Accidentally eating or drinking non-halal things is exempted because again, you didn't know the ingredients. 3. Hell is fun. Fun fact, it is permissible to eat pork or carcasses if it's in harshest and desperate times. For example, got lost in the forest.
