The crowd wouldn’t stop cheering after the performance

I hope people finally realize the “demonic reference” now with her performance. It’s never been literal. I’ve always thought it was an artistic reference similar to “skeletons in the closet,” in addition to trolling people who kept saying she was in the Illuminati or sold her soul. But all in all, I totally agree with you. She is the next supreme performer. I’ve always liked her, but after seeing her triller performance, and realizing that she is a true performer and a person who loves and appreciates her craft - I was hooked. She gives good music, good art, good performances, and eras. I love it

Right! Even the creative decision to purposefully tease the wardrobe change only to keep the same wardrobe the whole performance. She’s teasing what you expect to happen. The entire Coachella set live is 3x better than the regular studio versions. “Alone” is specifically one that is totally transformed live. & obviously thé rock rendition of Say So.

Agree. In general, everything felt very chaotic. I believe that Doja was supposed to reveal the red lingerie under her outfit in the performance but it didn't happen. The camera work sucked in almost every performance. I can imagine back stage was stressful.

I'm in the UK I stayed up till stoopid o'clock to watch this on the VMA last night and I've watched it 8 times today lol the Goosebumps with that entrance, the walk to paint the town red and then the anger and the energy of Demons. I am shooketh lol what a performance, the energy, the anger - its up there with Missy E, its Lauren Hill its so real so fresh and raw and no one is doing what Doja is doing, there was one bit where she lets a smile out because she knows she is on demon time and I love it. This album is going to blow the music scene apart I cannot wait and its about damn time someone shook the scene up YES!

I was on the band wagon of assuming that she was going a demonic route. But seeing this performance it’s beyond that stuff and you can look past all that. She ate. The mic was really on. The choreography just gave more than what needed to be given and her confidence in how talented she is lures you in. I can’t stop watching it and now I get what she has been doing all along. She got us talking so that she can show us who Tf she is as an artist. I’m so impressed by her truly.

This performance was just pure masterpiece!! I interpreted her starting to take off her shirt while saying "I'm a puppet..." as a showcase of what people expect her/every other female artist to do (cuz everyone saw that red set underneath, so majority was probably expecting some outfit change), but it doesn't mean she'd actually do it 😏

she ATE THIS. the fact that she got more and more INTO the performance towards the end is what gets me. she puts on an AMAZING show when she performs and i'm here for it.

There was a lot of good performances. Doja, Shakira, Diddy, and Anitta’s were my favs.

Real talk, Doja is a better performer than Beyonce or should i say far more talented than Beyonce. Don't get me wrong, i love Beyonce and think she is the greatest performer alive. But talent wise, hands down its Doja. I am not a Doja fan, but every performance this young lady gives is creative, authentic, original, and clever. I am not going to take anything away from my queen Bey, but what we see with the queen is a hard working perfectionist. Doja is raw, creative talent.

We all have opinions, Doja is #1...Beyonce could never, and has never...her range is unparalleled and Im going to truly keep it 100 and give Doja her things.
