It’s not a question of her size, it’s the fact that it’s a decades old dress made of extremely fragile material that was custom designed for a certain person. Anyone trying to put it on would have caused the tearing that’s now present along the seams - that wasn’t there prior to Kim getting loaned the dress to try on. The one she walked in was a copy, but she DID try on the dress and it was damaged in the process. I would assume that’s the fault of whatever assistant her mother hired to handle the dress being brought from Ripleys. Once they saw the back wouldn’t easily close, they should have immediately stopped and not tried to close the back. That’s what caused the stressing in the closures and fabric.

For someone who really tries to play up their class and status, Anna doesn’t seem like a very classy person overall. She allows someone to severely damage a historical garment without consequence, allows racists and sexists to come to the event (crap, Karl Lagerfeld was known for racism, sexism, and was incredibly controversial which honoring him was the theme and to be celebrated at this event is not exactly condemning his behavior), bans people who criticize her in any way. Love how we're just equating smoking with vaping, when it's more like hitting an inhaler. Literally has similar ingredients that produce the vapor. Smoking produces smoke -it gets tar in your lungs, it creates a dirty, sooty, film over everything. Vaping does not produce smoke because it doesn't burn anything. It's like water vapor, steam, except it's propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin vapor. Your lungs easily process it, and it dissipates in the air, unless you blow it directly into something that pg and vg can condense on again, like plastic--and you have to press it right against your mouth so the stream of vapor can all collect heavy enough in one spot. PG and VG are both ingredients added to paints, to help keep then flexible or retain moisture without molding, since they have antibacterial, antifungal properties. I can't really see them damaging art, even if you had a room full of vapors, but I haven't really tested it.

My personal opinion: If doja really wanted to vape the so be it but she should’ve done it in private like outside or in the toilet just to respect the rules
