Very underrated his acting was great

Could you even imagine if Matt had lived and was revealed as Uncle Howdy when Windham was still alive? He was just so far ahead of his time, he would have been perfect during the Wyatt family run.

Matt embodied the character. The other fellas gave it a fair shot but it just goes to show that a character is more than a costume. You can dress anyone up nice but it takes the right man behind the mask to bring something to life. Matt did a lot of things wrong in life but the Doink character he did right. Respect.🙏

If anyone brought a bit of the Joker and John Wayne Gacy's clown Pogo too life in the world of pro wrestling. It was Matt Borne. Excellent job from his entrance music, promos, smiles to wickedly maniacal faces. To also being one helluva in ring worker. It's a character that could have gone A LOT further and even stood the test of time today with it's relevancy. Had Matt not succumb too his personal demons. RIP Matt what you accomplished with this character will NEVER be forgotten.

I hope Crush got the necessary medical & psychological help he deserved at the time. I am sure the announcer, Vince McMahon, could tell the hire ups at WWF who to call.

Doink was the biggest heal in wwe back in 93 and Matt could back it up in the ring as well

Matt Bourne was the Best Doink

It was still a stupid, childish gimmick. But at least Matt Bourne tried to add something to the character beyond just the Saturday morning cartoon stuff and obviously his work in ECW with the character showed a lot of promise. Of course, if you do something decent with one of WWF/E's characters, especially outside of their company, they're not going to be happy about it.
