@@rach3487 Yes and No. Most of the undergraduate programs are super stressful and extremely competitive. A lot of students there are depressed. Most of the professors are really bad at teaching, you are basically teaching yourself. In a typical I would be reading about 2 to 3 chapters for each of my classes and you are required to take 5 classes. That is before I had to do homework/class project (butler or sipa library are your new home). But, it is a great networking opportunity if your family is not well connected. You’ll get a CHANCE to interview with all the top corporations. For me it worked out as my current job I got it thanks to people I knew from there. That being said the biggest mistake, you can make is to apply to the undergraduate program just for the sake of saying you went there. If that is your goal (I am not judging a lot people apply for that) you are better off with a 1 to 2 years masters program. Oh by the way it is much easier to get in most of the grad programs(exception might be the b-school, law school) then the undergraduate program. To conclude for the undergraduate, I highly recommend thinking about what you want to study and if you’ll need some connections-to get a job after (for example, if you want to go to med schools I do not think Columbia is worth it, you’ll make a lot of money no matter where you study. Finance on the hand definitely worth it...just make sure you can handle the pressure). For grad schools, the answer is always a YES.

@Atty 03 I wasn't trolling nor bullying her. If you go and rewatch her video, specifically at 4:42, she has a sticker on her laptop that reads "She goes to Barnard, not Columbia." My comment was in reference to a sticker that she, someone who attends Barnard, owns.
