Well said shaan the Bollywood comedies during Priyadarshan era were mostly situational comedy were the core strength is the writing and script whether its Hera Pheri, Hulchul, Bhagam Bhaag, Garam Masala, Bhool Bhulaiya,Golmal all are malayalam movie remakes and malayalam comedy films are more focused on Situations comedy and nowadays Malayalam cinema hasn't been focusing on comedy films hence no room for remakes😂

@@Azx12345 I agree actor's like akshay, paresh rawal, rajpal yadav definitely were a major reason for these success coz good script needs good actor's to make it work but the writing of these characters is what made them special. If you look at the comedy movies made during that time and the current shit we are getting there's a clear difference as the writings come across weak, jokes are not organic, most of them are nowadays double meaning or below the belt jokes.

In my limited knowledge, spy thrillers derive their thrill only from 2 things, double crossings and visual depictions of their plans which always goes wrong. That’s kinda a set formula. MI always does it, but those are gripping as well. The issue with Pathan was, it was a poorly made copy of MI 5 for most parts and did not have those moments except for SRK’s intro.

Here's what I think of Babadook's ending: You can never really forget a devastating event in your life( Husband's death in this case). So, I think she learned how to cope with that loss as she was able to keep it(babadook) locked inside the basement. So, I think the message of the film for us was to learn to not let a tragedy control the rest of your life.

Lakshya is also an awesome war movie 👍 Awesome conversation ❤❤

5:09 this is not coming from any bias, but we need to also credit & respect fans of the director, Atlee, and actors like Nayantara & VJS, who are also equally making the film. So, Atlee would have also like to promote it, in the way films do get promoted there, through big music launch events. He is a big commercial director down south. Hindi film industry has never had this concept in their marketing, SRK has probably never had direct fan interaction pre-release. Shaan bhai, if you look at all this through the lens of an Atlee film & how they have casted, like Mohit explained it makes more sense.

Most South Indians watch Hindi movies in Hindi. It's only because of mediocre Hindi movies coming to theatres and good Hindi content is coming directly to OTT or within months of releasing you might see less number of footfalls. Dont consider the BO collection based on the basis of dubbing.

Even Lakshaya was also a Good War movie . Pretty Underrated

Don't know how many people have watched it but Dil Dosti Etc was another movie which in my opinion was ahead of its time. Sex, College Politics, Friendship. Another underrated movie which should be watched atleast once

You never talked about good music of Gadar 2 which is trending on KZread. 4 You miss big point of emotional connect and missing emotions from new films. You keep comparing the movies with Western films , why we need to follow Western films which has totally different culture there films lack emotions, even though they are technically good it does not contain emotion. 5 talking about flaw in plot of Gadar3 , I Don't find any flaw , you guys have stopped understanding deep meaning of love which is beyond physical touch which is sawn beautifuly in first half between muskan and jeete. 6 if you keep reviewing just on the basis of technical things , you will never understand the nerve of Indian people which compromises of 90 percent people still belonging to villages. As a cinema enthusiast I would love to see the OMG 2 on OTT full fledge without any cuts, saw it in the theatre but with those 27 cuts somehow movie's core was lost in a way I feel. Still loved the message and performances tho.

but but you can check region wise boxoffice you can see south region contribute a lot for pathaan but from hindi version . Most people from south region watch movie in hindi language.

Let me clarify, Pathaan was big success in South belt. They prefer watching in original Hindi language as most of them kinda understand it. The number of Hindi shows were more than dubbed version. You guys need to understand this. Even for Jawan look at the state wise booking. Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kochi has more occupancy in Hindi Shows than north side. You guys need to understand this that these major south markets are always been huge contributor to Bollywood movie’s box office. Get the Fact guys.

Correction pathaan did 130 cr gross from south of india including hindi and both dubbed version which is highest for any north film. Many people in south too understand hindi and I have one friend in south he told those who know hindi here prefer watching Hindi films in hindi only than dubbed. So pathaan did great in south big cities but to tap into interior regions like villages audience who don't understand hindi at all dubbed version needs to tap where i feel jawan will do way better than pathaan. Jawan advance is going on better than Pathaan so sky is the limit if it's a good enough film.
