In case this helps anyone: When I used to make jar salads, I would put the dressing in an empty applesauce cup, place the cup in the top of the jar and then screw the jar lid on over it.

I want to say she’s perfected the excellent combination of naps, good healthy food, plenty of outdoor time and a bunch of little helpers. Plus she speaks kindly to herself and respects her own limits (“I’ll do this for maybe an hour... or ten minutes!”). All that, and she’s amazing, of course.

I love that little moment with Benjamin when he tried the yogurt. Last night I was baking with my kiddo and she tried the cocoa powder and I had warned it her it wouldn't taste nice but encourages her to try and see what it tasted like. Right as her little face contorted with the ickiness, she was about to go spit it out, I stuffed a big pinch of brown sugar in her mouth. "Now it tastes nice huh?" "Yeah." "Isn't that funny? Chocolate isn't actually yummy, it's sugar that's yummy." It's fun letting them experiment in the kitchen.

I had my daughter in footed onesies until she was 3 months old because of cold weather. She was so fascinated with her toes once she went into summer clothes. Enjoy them when they are just babies because my daughter turn 21 on Sunday! Time goes by so fast.

My niece's grandmother raised baby drawf goats. When she was about 5 she watched a goat being born she was so amazed that she named the baby Miracle. The babies were so cute. Her grandmother brought the twin baby goats to preschool for show & tell.

So sweet. My son brought his grandmother (my mom) for show and tell! It was her greatest joy to tell all the friends, and relatives that. We sure miss her. He wrote, and delivered her graveside service at age 9 1/2.

I would love to see you and your husband do a Q&A, and/ or you and one of your oldest kids do a cooking video. Can't wait till I see the newest addition!

I saw you got the large instant pot! Just wanted to tell you, you can do 3 dozen boiled eggs at a time! 1 cup water, place metal tray then eggs at 4 minutes!!! Then 5 minute ice bath. The shells come off almost in one piece. Such a time saver!

My grandma (mom of 10), this was back in the day as I'm 48 currently, used to be like that with all us grandkids, very easy going. If she was cooking or baking, we could taste-test just about anything. We never felt like we were in her way or interrupting her. You are like that with your kids, and I love that about you! And of course, she sneakily let us "help" with all sorts of chores like laundry folding, beating the mats outside on the clothes line (boy did we get some energy out). My grandma was one smart cookie!
