A big thank you to the announcer for his engaging commentary! His analysis and description of each horse and rider, along with his excitement and enthusiasm, allowed me to participate in this event in a way I have never experienced before. He is a joy to listen to and I learned so much!

I enjoy commentary by Frederik de Backer more than any of the other LGCT commentators. I find it particularly fine that he can pronounce the names of the competitors and horses correctly, something the British commentators cannot or will not do. Further, his running commentary has excitement and enthusiasm without becoming overblown, and he leavens it all with exceptional technical information. It thrills me that LGCT has promoted him to primary commentator. Keep up the great work, meneer de Backer!

there's some timecods: 6:39 - 9:41 Andrzej Oplatek on Stakkatan (12yo gelding by Stakkatol - Kannan), Poland - decided to retire after 12 faults and a wall-fence fell into pieces 9:45 - 12:30 Pius Schwizer on Vient Tu Rouet (12yo gelding by Pezetas Du Rouet), Switzerland - decided to retire after 12 faults 12:35 - 14:36 Bart Bles on Kriskas Dv (can someone tell me his pedigree? can't find it anywhere), Netherlands (S.F. EQUESTRIAN) - CLEAR round, 75,97 seconds! (can we appreciate the color-matching of the rider and the horse please?) 14:38 - 16:52 Emanuele Gaudiano on Chalou (12yo stallion by Chacco-blue - Baloubet du ruet), Italy - 4 faults, 73,94 seconds 16:53 - 19:10 Evelina Tovek on Dalila de la Pomme (12yo mare by Taran de la Pomme - Diamant De Semilly), Sweden - 12 faults, 76 seconds straight 19:12 - 21:52 Oliver Robert on Vivaldi des Meneaux (12yo gelding by Chippendale Z - Bamako De Muze), France - 8 faults, 72,29 seconds (well al scacab oxer and the next vertical are really tricky, but they absolutely nailed longines triple system!) 21:54 - 24:00 Suus Kuyten in Alfa Jordan (13yo stallion by Air Jordan Z - Lancelot), Netherlands - 21 faults (1 for time), 82,36 seconds 24:01 - 27:00 Agustin Covarrubias on Teavanta II C Z (16yo mare by Treasure - Ahorn), Chile - 8 faults, 79,54 seconds (ok classic - polls down in longines triple system and al-shacab ones) 27:02 - 29:25 Christian Kukuk on Mumbai (9yo stallion by Diamant De Semilly , with Quidam De Revel as a dad of a grandpa, Nabab De Reve, and he's a grandson of Eureka), Germany - CLEAR round, 76,58 seconds! 29:26 - 32:10 Rene Lopez on Kheros Van't Hoogeinde (11yo gelding by Echo Van 't Spieveld - Darco and with Heartbreaker in pedigree), Colombia - 1 fault for time, 80,97 seconds - well the ride was dramatic and red stirrups matched with a rider's belt is cute 32:11 - 34:08 Eduardo Alvarez Aznar on Rokfeller De Pleville Bois Margot (16yo gelding by L’arc De Triomphe and with Landor S and Apache D'adriers as a grandpas), Spain - 4 faults, 77,77 seconds 34:09 - 36:57 Lorenzo de Luka on Nuance Bleue Vdm Z (10yo mare by Nabab De Reve - Canturo), Italy - CLEARR round, 75,98 seconds 36:58 - 39:05 Titouan Schumacher on Atome Z (14yo gelding by Amadeus Z*brimbelles - Toulon and with Heartbreaker and Nimmerdor in pedigree), France - retired with 12 faults after Atome Z refused to jump the vertical after the al shacab fence 39:06 - 41:19 Jeanne Sadran on Vannan (12yo stallion by Diamant De Semilly - Kannan. Once again there is Nimmerdor in the pedigree and Voltaire as a dad of a grandpa), France - 8 faults, 78,54 seconds - "twice too deep - twice 4 faults" 41:20 - 43:18 Maurice Tebbel on Don Diarado (12yo stallion by Diarado - Castle Forbes Lord Lancer. Bloodlines of Diamant De Semilly), Germany - retired after poll down in al shacab system's vertical (btw it's the second horse who was "drifting" between al shacab oxer and the next vertical - well never ends good (first was Atome Z)). Rider did amazing thing - he saw his horse was unbalanced so he calm him down, jumped one of the fences and retired. Just shows his level of professionalism 43:19 - 46:22 Oliver Philippaerts on H&M Legend of Love (15yo mare by Landzauber - Corgraf, Landgraf I and Ladykiller in pedigree), Belgium (H&M team) - 4 faults, 75,69 seconds (OH last fence poll down! Could be the first but something went wrong, also their color-matching is cute) 46:23-48:51 Julien Epaillard (2019th LGCT winner) on Queeletta (13yo mare by Quality 9 - Landor S, with and Quidam De Revel, Ladykiller and Landgraf I in pedigree), France - 8 faults, 73,94 seconds 51:33 - 54:30 Shane Breen on Z7 Ipswich (13yo gelding by Carembar De Muze - Quick Star, with Galoubet A in pedigree), Ireland (Z7 team) - 8 faults, 75,48 seconds - as the commentator said "the round was better than 8 faults", just not their lucky day 54:32 - 57:07 Eric Lamaze on Dieu Merci Van T&L (12yo stallion by Toulon - Corrado-i , with and Heartbreaker and Nimmerdor in pedigree), Canada - CLEAR round, 77,89 seconds (some rubs but no faults!) 57:08 - 59:37 - Edwina Tops-Alexander (winner of LGCST of 2018) on Identity Vitseroel (13yo mare by Air Jordan - Darco), Australia - 8 faults, 78,33 seconds (ugh I'm very angry at that vertical after al shacab oxer!!!! it's so hard not to touch! Also one more time noticed really cute color-match, Edwina's style is just so chic) 59:38-1:01:50 Constant van Paesschen on Isidoor Van De Helle (13yo stallion by Canturo - Qredo De Paulstra, with Galoubet A in pedigree), Belgium - 4 faults, 78,35 seconds (oh how the horse rubbed the poll with the girth! very unfortunate 4 faults) 1:01:51 - 1:04:09 Anna Kellnerova on Catch Me If You Can Old (13yo mare by Catoki - Acordplus, with Ahorn Z bloodlines), Czech Republic - retired with 8 faults after the horse's refusal to jump the wall - need to say they look sooo glamorous wow 1:04:10-1:07:15 Jos Verlooy on Varoune (13yo gelding by Verdi Tn - Cardalme, with and Quidam De Revel and Landgraf I's bloodlines), Belgium - decided to retire after 12 faults - well after longines triple system it all went wrong, I think he was deciding either to continue or to retire and while he was deciding he just jumped some fences haha 1:07:16-1:09:24 Penelope Leprevost on Vancouver de Lanlore (12yo stallion by Toulon - Le Tot De Semilly, with Heartbreaker and Nimmerdor in pedigree), France - retired with 12 faults aftter the horse refused to jump the last oxer of the route 1:09:26 - 1:11:49 Mark Mcauley on Jasco Vd Bisschop (12yo gelding by Dulf Van Den Bisschop, Krunch De Breve - once again - Heartbreaker and Nimmerdor's bloodlines), Ireland - had to retire after 8 faults cause his helmet had broken....... - hey gpa i have some questions to ask haha 1:11:50-1:14:36 Niels Bruynseels on Delux Van T&L (12yo gelding by Toulon - Landetto, with Heartbreaker and Nimmerdor in pedigree), Belgium - CLEAR round, 77,04 seconds! Well it is a second horse bred by T&L (the first was Eric Lamaz's Dieu Merci Van T&L) and they all jumped clear rounds!! (have to say a golden browband looks really good on the horse) 1:14:38 - 1:16:49 Gregory Wathelet on Nevados S (13yo stallion by Calvados Z - Romualdo, with Contender and Chellano Z in pedigree), Belgium - 8 faults, 75,43 seconds 1:16:50 - 1:19:20 Marcus Ehning on Stargold (10yo stallion by Stakkato Gold - Lord Weingard.
