The snarling Cain Corso was not funny. That was a threat, and they had better take it seriously.

It is obscene, cruel, and just plain rotten. Shameful acts by people who couldn't care less about what they think is ***cute*** Shameful, shameful acts by shameless people who do these things to their pets for "entertainment." This is not entertainment, this is cruel and these people should be barred from having these animals who give love and !loyalty and joy to others and are repaid by acts of cruelty.

Man I feel so bad for chihuahuas. Making them scared and annoyed all the time is not funny. They just make their dogs permanently anxious and defencive and then they complain about the whole breed being "angry". You just made your dog think no human is trustworthy and safe being around to.

I do not understand how fake service dogs can indanger real service dogs, although nobody should put any dog in a grocery store shopping cart. That's just rude, inconsiderate & uncalled for. How do you feel about when somebody puts their dog in a cart at home depot? I dont see a problem with that. I would like to add that there is no such thing as a fake service dog. All a dog has to do is be able to perform a task. Any useful task that would specifically help his owner/ handler would be the smartest, preferably on command. Hence somebody asks: is that a service dog ? Answer: yes it is. They continue- what service does he perform? Then you must answer with the truth: He gets my keys when it's time for us to leave the house. Those are the only 2 things anyone is allowed to ask you about your service dog. Is it a service dog? And what service does he perform? However, in the reading material approved by the service dog people, anyone can call their dog a service dog and he is a service dog when you say he is a service dog. So you see with that being said, it sounds to me like there are no fake service dogs. Have a great day : )

"Gets my keys when it's time to leave" would not cut it. Also, while you can only ask whether the dog is a service dog and what tasks it performs, if the dog is causing a disruption, you can still ask it to leave. That's why a service dog's training is much more rigorous than your average dog, they have to be completely nonreactive and only focus on their handler no matter what situation they're put in. One of the biggest issues with fake service dogs is that their misbehavior gives all service dogs a bad name, and leads to discrimination and harassment of real service dogs, which endangers their handlers. A poorly trained fake service dog may be reactive to other dogs too, leading to fights in places that should be safe and reserved for service animals. Consider watching videos by service dog handlers on this topic, there's plenty of content showing examples of why fake service animals are such an issue.

@@user-ns9od3qq9r a service dog is trained in tasks to help someones DISABILITY. they are trained to pick up items for people, alert to medical episodes (seizures, blood sugar, fainting, etc), guide the blind and other tasks. they are trained to be in a heel when walking next to the handler, and attentive to the handler incase of emergency. they can find specific people in emergencies and find safe exists incase of panic attacks.they can even help those on the autism spectrum with waiting, eloping and being in stores. they do not sniff at other dogs or bark. they ignore them unless given the go command to play. they do not pull on their lead. they do not jump up at people. for the people with these service dogs, they are by law classed as medical equipment. they help this person live and function in society. if a non service dog barks at them, lunges at them, growls at them, etc, it can distract the SD and they may miss an alert, putting the handlers life in danger. not to mention, getting these dogs can cost THOUSANDS and if your stupid fucking aggressive/reactive ass mutt attacks them because you wanted to be quirky and bring it in the store, saying its a service dog, it can undo years of training. dogs could have to retire years early due to trauma making them now a reactive dog not a service dog. so think before you comment and dont be so fucking stupid dude
