Showing their bellies isn’t a trap, they just see showing their belly as a sign of affection and trust. It’s like sign language. But most cats don’t like being touched on the stomach, ESPECIALLY pregnant cats so make sure you don’t rub their bellies but make sure you give your cat a lil treat when they show you their stomach

@@WubbleDubble1 yeah so story time I don't remember this that much but when I was in Georgia possibly about two maybe three I was a dumb stubborn and tricky lad there's a lot of hilarious baby stories but we had three cats two females one male the male ended up getting both of them pregnant we had 13 cats I don't exactly know what happened to all of them but when we moved to Florida (when I was five and I'm still living here at 22 almost 23) I had two cats named Iceman and I believe something that rhymed with bologna because I called her bologna and we're just going to call her bologna for the sake of this story was a very rude cat and I didn't really like her not many people in our family did but Iceman was a really nice cat I loved him with all my heart so we lost both of them come to find out after a while of searching and asking people people bologna was apparently lost in the woods she's dead by now I guarantee it and Iceman they actually saw a cat just like him getting run over by a car just by your street when we came home I cried for a long time it's just sad thinking about it but what happened in the past happened in the past she was my favorite cat and we have had a cat since but I've met a couple cats somewhere nice couple of mean and I remember my mom's friend having three cats one was shy but getting more braver as she saw us and the names were Cayro, Loki, and Teddy or tedrick Cayro and Loki were really nice cats but Teddy he was like a mix he was happy at some points and then suddenly mad at others that's basically all I remember about cats but yeah I agree you are lucky that you got a good one

I see a lot of people failing to befriend cats because they're just going about it the wrong way.. Don't approach a cat like it's a dog, like you KNOW its going to respond positively to you, approach it like its another human being, be chill. Cats pick up on your energy like static, and too much energy (Even positive energy, like excitement at seeing a cute kitty), will freak them out. This is the same reason why cats tend to approach the one person in the room who genuinely doesn't like them, because that person is the only person who isn't freaking out. Imagine if you approached a stranger on the street with the same energy you show a dog - Would you be freaked out? Chances are, ya would. That, or you're the kinda person who'd def hop into a mans van if he told you he had candy inside. I feel like I got the exact opposite "spiritual energy" to you, cats tend to approach me a lot, while dogs.. Seem to get confused by me, lol. Maybe it's because I don't hype them up, or fawn over them excessively? Sadly most of my experiences with dogs in the past have been negative ones. I did bond with one really sweet dog while doing work experience at a vets though, but it's not exactly like she had a choice since.. She was so sick she couldn't stand, so she couldn't exactly walk away from me. :( I just sat with her and kept her company, she was sweet. Sadly, other dogs just don't like me usually, lol.

Boys(like me) look at da dawg

I have a cat, Tom (Used to a stray) and when I was really young, I picked him up and hugged him. A trip to the ER and only recently (6 years later) does he let me pets his belly, pick him up, and love him. I love cats, and I'm a magnet for them, so they love me! Dog are sweet but, they are header to take care of for they need a lot more affection (Which you can't give if you're at work a lot) and more care. For example cats don't need to be taken on walks or be trained. (Besides litter boxes) I loves dogs too, but if you're busy a lot, or you can't be bothered to take a dog on a walk, cats are a good pet.

Yep. I have a pet tuxedo cat named Bubba, he’s a big boi and doesn’t need too much affection. Now he’s not a total arsehole unlike most cats, he LOVES humans but will murder any other animal taking into the household🤷‍♀️

Yeah your story is just like mine, I have two cats who are very nice and never scratch or be mean, dogs are very good as well but they do require lotta attention.

I had a cat named dot. That cat literally forced me to adopt her. But it was cool because I love cats. And that cat gives no craps if I rub her belly or not. In fact it was encouraged that I rub her belly. But the cat was a sweetheart to me. She only ate me because she thought I’d produce milk. (Btw I didn’t. I still don’t)

9:05 sometimes when a cat shows its belly to you they will sometimes let you give them belly rubs and that means they trust you

My pig, guinea pig gave me a scab and long story, but it was a painful story, but his name was Rodney

My cat used to like belly rubs- unfortunately, he’s dead :( he only let me rub his belly tho, I once heard that it means that the cat trusts you :D also, my stupid ass cat is about to knock down a pile of books- Edit: I stopped him from knocking down the books, he bit me tho- I love him.

IF a cat rolls on it's belly, it's a sign you've gained their trust, and so does dogs, but the only difference is their sensitivity.

I used to be a dog person but cats love me so I love them now

Lol Dixie dose the same thing my dog dose he doesn’t like “violence” so he will defend the victim but sometimes he mixes up who’s the victim and also nip or bite at the wrong person

When cats show their stomachs, it means that they trust you and like you. If you pet their stomachs, they'll lose trust, and probably not do it again. You know, after biting..

I got a bird because cats and dogs don’t live long enough and I too get absolutely wrecked when they pass. Kain will live at least 35 years, so he’s going to be here with me until I’ve got wrinkles!
