I had a PON female dog in childhood. Few facts: they are very friendly for the family, and they quickly become friendly for from outside, "family guests", friends etc. They are very territorial - they won't allow strangers to come to house without family permission. They love to guard, mine loved to lay in the snow before the gate for hours, because cold was nothing for her, she was sometimes barking once or twice, just for fun. If you have a second floor at home, and a staircase, there's 100% chance the dog will sit in the middle of the stairs and "guard" the family. That was a great dog, I very miss her. There's only one con of this breed. Hair - hair everywhere, on the carpet, on the couch, on your clothes. But it doesn't matter, you'll love this dog so much, you won't care for it.

Poles seem to have the fluffiest dogs out there. First the Pomeranian and now the Lowland sheepdog

Pomeranian is more of a German breed, it descends from the german spitz and was bred down to a small size in Pomerania. Most of the region is now part of north-western Poland but back then it was mostly german territories. I was born and live in Pomerania fyi.

They are stubborn and will structure their day around every and any routines you may have. They will remember the times you do those routines and remind you when its time because they want to be part of it.

@@kittykat632 they are said to be really intelligent, but maybe too much for a dog. It is said to be a mix of Huns dogs and germanic tribes dogs during roman empire times

Polski Owczarek Nizinny = PON. Such a wonderful breed. True family dogs, calm, love kids. Have plenty of energy tough, so it's important to play with them every day.
