I really enjoy Ubleck questioning the team why they are pursuing being huntresses. Yang saying she is a thrill seeker with helping people being a second thought, Weiss wants to uphold her family name and duty, and Blake wants to rid the world of corruption but hesitates when asked how. Ubleck is getting everybody to really think about what kind of work being a hunter or huntress really is. It is to protect and rescue innocent lives. If they can’t figure that out on their own, they can’t be real huntresses. As a teacher Ubleck believes they all have the potential and the skills to be great huntresses but need to know what it means to be one.

While the reasons that YBW gave for wanting to be huntresses are not necessarily wrong, you don’t HAVE to be a Huntress to fulfill them. Like Yang said, she wants the adventure and helping people is just a bonus.

It's one of my favorite scenes in the early seasons! The way the Goliath just stares back at them so full of hate is haunting and makes it clear why it's so hard for settlements to just exist if a pack of those could just bulldoze a town in like a few hours.

And these aren't even the biggest "Irondaddy" moments. (I think End of Volume 3 or his big fight with his own song is his most "daddy" moment while Volume 4 with Weiss and her dad is his biggest "father" moment.)

Oobleck has got to be one of my favorite side characters, he’s like that one teacher who’s so enthusiastic about his work that his enthusiasm makes you wanna pay attention.

If you mean the bunny girl, that's Velvet, as in the Velveteen Rabbit (nearly all RWBY characters are based on myths, legends, stories or fairy tales, that's hers.). And yeah, her voice actor is Caiti from Australia and is married to Jack, the voice of Junior (the bar keeper Yang was interrogating)

Zwei! Best boy! Life is complete now. Zwei is a fun reference to Cowboy Bebop. The dog on that show is a also a corgi named Ein, German for One. Zwei is German for Two. Team CFFY are second year students compared to teams RWBY and JNPR. Velvet, the bunny girl, gets to show off her combat outfit at last, having only been seen in her school uniform last Volume. Her outfit is the first of many examples of RWBY's creators letting the fans get involved in the development of the series. Between Volumes 1 and 2 we were given the chance for artists to design Velvet's combat gear, putting it to a contest. The colors of the final product were changed to better fit with the team's brown "coffee" theme, but the actual design is all fan made. There would be many more examples of fan interaction in the volumes to come. I love how Dr. Oobleck totally picks apart Blake, Weiss and Yang's motives for becoming Huntresses, each having their own motivations beyond what they say to do this job and picks them apart with ease. But Ruby? He doesn't need to ask her, she wears her heart on her sleeve and he knows everything he needs to know about her already. Nice little detail that Ruby, the least experienced of the team and the one most overly excited about weapons, is terrible at hand to hand combat. Give her Crescent Rose and she'll dismantle any foe before her. Strip it away and she's useless if she has to rely on just her bare hands.

Remember when he chewed out Jaune and Cardin for slacking off in history class? Heck, the reason he asked the girls about what they want as Huntresses could be because he could tell they were stockpiling enough negativity to draw in all those Grimm.

- just after they reach the ruins of Mountain Glen, Oobleck uses his thermos to point as his chest and when he lowers it, there's a coffee stain. 😆 - 'young' Grimm are kinda mindless, but older Grimm who have survived a battle or two against Huntsmen/Huntresses get smarter, they learn tactics beyond "Charge!" - Ruby told Zwei; "1 bark for yes, two barks for No". When Ruby fell, he barked twice like he was saying "Oh No!

Best thing to do is wait until most if not all the reactions are posted on Patreon and grind out the reactions in one month. It's currently $7.50CAD which might be around $5-6USD. I don't want this whole comment to just be me whining so I want to say first, I've been enjoying rewatching RWBY alongside your reactions, thanks for uploading them to YT. I used to love and look forward to RWBY so much and have been really enjoying watching these reactions but I'm also getting more and more frustrated every episode. I'm trying to not be a salty bitch and enjoy at least the episodes from back when the circumstances around the show weren't complicated and I could just wholeheartedly support it, but with them taking RWBY off YT making it so you have to watch on other services that can't be bothered to subtitle properly (or at all) it's constantly dragging down the viewing experience.

Its kinda sad. I love their commentary I love this show. But damn the anti copyright editing got out of hand. Now 97% of the video is just silence. I used to watch it on background since I already can barely see whats happening. But thats out of question now as its just mited. I can hear only half of sentence every couple minutes and there are an entire parts totally cut out so you cant even pull out your own episode and do watch along because it will go out of sync. Is it really necessary? There were some reactors reacting even lately or reacting to the latest season that was already on different platform and noone had to go this bad on the editing. :/
