candidaproud560. I can only echo your comments. Yes, it is time for our lawmakers to write into law that animal cruelty is punishable by prison time, not a slab on the wrist. Also, I do appreciate all the hard work and patience that went into rescuing another beautiful animal. Thank you lovely people for the rescue. May God bless you and your rescue. A beautiful dog, and a massive thank you to all those who foster. On the other hand, this is one occasion, this dog had to be looked after by someone who could adopt it. (there must have been someone). All that care, love and attention, and Griff is back to square one again, with another owner needed. In this instance, this foster is counter productive. Truly horrible for this beautiful dog, All the religious comments in the world, are not going to guarantee him a good life.

We have a rescue dog who came out of a horrid hoarder situation, over 100 dogs taken out of a small house. She was over 5 when removed from that house and (as far as we could find) was born into that mess. Even today, nearly 5 years later, she loves being outside. Except for wind or rain, I used to have to put a leash on her, to get her inside. She is better now & owns the bed, rolls on the couch & dares us to make her move over. Time & trust will help this sweet dog.

Was there nothing they could do with his skin irritation? I've seen other rescues where the dogs looked like him and they were able to do treatments that had the skin growing back the fur. It would make it much easier to find someone to adopt him. Poor baby...he's had a rough life and he deserves to get a loving forever home.🐕♥️

Griff's a beautiful boy! Thanks for saving him! Because of you, Griff changed from a terrified puppy who was scared of his own shadow to a sunbathing rascal. While ITA that Griff deserves a loving home, I believe that he belongs with you. I know that you can't keep every dog you foster, but you should keep this one because he knows YOU, he trusts YOU and he loves YOU. It took Griff a long time to learn how to trust humans again and he needs stability. Giving him to strangers could traumatize him all over again.Griff's transformation has been remarkable because of you and losing you could destroy him. 😇😇🐕🐾💕🏠

Well said, i cant believe people watching, cant see that this dog has to go through all that getting to know process all over again. His particular condition does not deserve someone giving him up again. Kudos to those who foster, but in this instance, how could you give him up. Defies belief. Doent help, with all those bigging up the person who fostered him. Hopefully Griff will get his forever him, but really disappointed in this person who fostered him.

Griff will need a family that understands that he is a special needs dog who will need a lot of patience, love and commitment to never be abandoned. He might do best to become a foster fail with his foster Mom. ❤️💯

Poor Griff has had a hard, hard life filled with stress and fear. Him having to go to a new home is just another new hurdle he'll have to overcome yet again. I feel so sad for these dogs being shuffled around until someone loves them enough to keep them, cherish them till their last breath.

Poor Griff, not too many people have your heart so I do hope he goes to a good home. I'd be so worried i'd never be able to be a foster mom. I grew up in the foster care so realize how people can be nice in person but in their homes they are different so I don't trust them. But you are so beautiful for loving this dog.. I know you can't keep them all but Griff is a special case, wish you would keep him he has been through enough.

My dog too was so fearful. I went into the humane society and asked for the dog with the most issues or had Ben brought back a lot of times or abused. At the humane society in Canada u r not given any history so I took him home, he was so scared of his own shadow. Like this woman I slept beside him on the floor a few nights, Finally I said come on bud the bed is a lot more comfortable and he jumped up and we slept late that day, him snoring and me sleeping heavily. That was the start. Now 9 years later he is the the best little guy, so good and he is great for me . I live alone. All it takes is time tolerance patience kindness and love and smiles. All dogs need a chance to show their true colours. And this little griff shows he can trust again. He needs gentle hands.

Sometimes I wish they could tell us what happened to them. I am always amazed when they learn to trust. I was dismayed when said he's up for adoption but just maybe the " best ever home" & family are waiting for HIM to arrive.💞🐾🐾✨✨

It's so cliche and cheesy but seriously to see what love does for a mistreated or abandoned animal is just priceless !!Extremely rewarding. Also lots of patience😂💙

They feed off of your energy! Try to be calm and chill and they may warm up, some dogs need so much patience and time. Many of my fosters came to me pretty hairless and bad mange but always cleared up easily once loved and cared for with baths. ❤❤❤ thank you for fostering and caring
