Brandon mcmillan is the most gentle, thorough and effective dog i've ever encountered. My friend and i love the dog show and never miss it. So many times we've shed a tear of happiness just seeing a dog's life changed forever when proper training is applied and they go on to live their lives the way they should. I've seen him take even old dogs and teach them. Brandon was an animal trainer before his current mission. His parents were animal trainers. His methods are the best i've ever found. My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. You did make progress with paw! Everyone starts somewhere! I started with just the basics like sit, down, shake, etc but I've learned so much and now I'm teaching more advanced tricks like rebound, dog catch, backstall, airplane, orbit, etc. It just takes a lot of time, patience, hard work and dedication. You're doing great, keep it up!!

What an awesome trainer. You could compete in DWD and win with Britney. But most importantly, the dog is having so much fun.

The trust at 2:00 is amazing...to go completely limp, and trust your human...takes a dog that KNOWS that you would rather hurt yourself, than hurt the dog...

It's nice to see owner and dog having fun together

awww awesome! you guys clearly have a great bond and Britney definitely seems very driven and excited to do her tricks. i love seeing female trainers, it is really inspiring for other women and girls who want to work with animals or just train their own. especially with stereotypically "masculine" dogs. everyone always thinks my shepherds a boy, but im always quick to say HER name is Luna. im gonna try and teach her some new tricks, but she already learned how to open and close doors herself, let herself out of locked crates, open other crates, etc., so shes a self starter.

145 idiots I guess. Actually I almost feel sorry for them , they have most likely mental problems and need to act out on it , even if I don't like it better this way than them going out and kill someone.

Some of these tricks are better than what I’ve seen on America’s Got Talent!

My dog also knows it and it was pretty easy for me. First thing you want to do is teach your dog to lay down on it's side (lot of trick tutorials about that). Then you want your dog to be comfortable with you being around him/ her while he/ she is laying down on the side. Then touch your dog while it's on the side, and reward when he/ she stays on the side calmly. Then lift your dog op very slowly, just a little bit, and when the dog stays relaxed reward him/ her. Then just build up very slowly. My dog is very comfortable with me being around, so it was very easy to teach her this. The most important thing is that you dog is very, very relaxed and comfortable with you being around her, touching her and lifting her up. If your dog isn't, it's going to be really difficult to train this.
