I used to rehab squirrels and believe it or not some of them like music. I had one that was very hyper and when I wanted to calm him down, I would put classical music on. He loved it. I had another squirrel who liked techno music. She would get all excited when she would hear it. I also had a squirrel that was a little "slow" due to a head injury when she was a baby and she had a particular pop song that she really liked. Animals are more like us humans than people realize! 😊❤

Perhaps that is a note or sound which he Never, ever heard in his life since so few humans can reach it and sound decent. My Cairn Terrier sang as I played the piano, mellow sorrowful crying to the light-hearted tunes, Mozart, scarlatti, broadway, but excited barking to the last movement of the Moonlight sonata or other dynamic passages. Then again, he might have been commenting on my poor technique!

I think it's more about not having exposure than not having good taste. I've watched a lot of videos of people of all stripes (& babies) seeing this performance for the first time, and no one has *ever* said, "What's the big deal?" Every single one is touched to one degree or another.

I come back to this video every now and again if I ever feel down, I hope this pupper is happy and still howling along to Pavarotti, I know he'd sing along aswell
