If they don't trust you, you don't touch them without bad consequences. The incredibile fact is that most animal, above all dogs, "surrender" very quietily, almost ipnotized from him anche his collaborators/voluntiers.

That was beautiful - you're a wonderful man Eldad Hagar ... whenever I need to feel better about this world I watch one of your awesome rescues ... they are so uplifting. Thank you.

The sad resignation in the eyes of Melody and Macy is heartbreaking. This guy is my hero. So gentle and patient.

Eldad - Some of these older videos are such a joy to watch again. You are endlessly patient, tenderly gentle, and incredibly resourceful. Much love to you for what you give to animals, and ultimately to us.

On every video I watch it kills me to look at the despair and sadness in the dogs' eyes but then to see the hope finally returning bit by bit as the videos go on with Eldad and his helpers reassuring the dogs they'll be okay is just so uplifting. The eyes really do seem to be the windows to the soul.

As long as you don't know the people. But as soon as its someone you know and love this changes. Now picture that these homeless people are\were also loved by others. Furthermore, how do you know who is 'scum' and who is not? And if you are not sure, shouldn;t the default be to assume they are not 'scum'?

I've never heard of people going to war ridden countries and rescuing street dogs and leaving people to rot....Billions of dollars are pumped into several war town countries just for human aid and development by organisations like the UN.

What makes me cry is that when i realize this is still the same man who rescued every dog in the video from eight years ago or more, please stay healthy❤ god bless you always. You deserve whole world

It hurts, how scared they are. They're so harmless and innocent. We don't deserve animals.

At this adventure he worked alone and still did his job, Love it! ; D

That moment when a dog decided to trust you and let it be given some petting. That moment brings a very warm feeling and inexplicable kind of ease to my heart. Thank you for all the people who makes this possible.

With each video that I see, my heart breaks a little bit more. With each of your rescues, it heals a little. I don't know if you realize the gift that you have. To see the fear in these poor animal's eyes turn into trust is just wonderful. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN!

Wow, I found this one really moving! He really had to work at earning their trust, with a great outcome!

The passage of time doesn't diminish my love for these gentle souls and though many of my own boys over the years have gone over the rainbow, My memories of them all don't diminish or fade off into the distance, because my love for them will remain until i myself succumb to age and my time is done on this planet , god willing,, i will be reunited with every one of them

Man I always wanted a lab or a golden retriever but I'm allergic so my. Dog can only be a poodle. Still I have him to death. He's so cute and adorable despite being a senior dog (he is nine this year!)

The world needs more Eldad Hagars. Instead of preaching and condemning, or calling everyone who might disagree with him a Nazi, he just goes out and lives the example and gently invites the rest of us to join him.

The tail between the legs is so sad, much less their sad eyes. It's so great to see that tail start wagging ❤️

Oh, they look so calm & happy once they're in the car. Sweet babies😊❤️

It's amazing how Eldad can transform these dogs so quickly. They really 100% end up trusting him.

I get sad because I wish every dog in the world that is hurt or abandoned needs to be loved! But it’s such a big world. I never want to see a dog hurt! Who’s with me?

Guys like this one and his helpers deserve every award and accolade going. The look in some of these dog's eyes when they know they are safe and rescued is beyond price.

It's interesting how Eldad Hagar, when he rescues dogs and puts them in his car, doesn't have them in a cage or box - just right on the seat. I would think that this makes the rescue process a lot less stressful for the dogs, that they are right in the environment with the humans who rescue them

robertm2000 Good pick up. He puts them in a cage only if they have been avoiding him for like hours, and he can't get them, he puts them in a cage. But when they are calm and he can finally pat them he would put the dogs in his car with him.

Have they found homes yet, or are they still up for adoption? I think they should stay together when they get adopted. I am glad there are people like this guy out there. This is so sad. There should be back ground checks and a lot more hoops humans need to go through before they can be able to adopt any animals. It is sad that someone could just look at these guys, have them, raise them, and then one day just leave them. That person has no heart. How after looking in there eyes can you not see they are alive and have a soul, a personality of their own. You can see the sadness and how scared they are in theirs eyes. I couldn't do this. I could help save them but could never just leave an animal like this.

Eldad is LA's Mother Teresa for animals. He is doing for LA's most suffering animals what she did for the most impoverished and suffering people of Calcutta. He is a truly kind, gentle, and compassionate soul.

Eldad has a God given patience to rescue these animals. May God Bless him and his volunteers. If everyone one did something, the world would be a much better place.

If you watch this you’ll be adopting a dog real soon. These babies are gorgeous. Eldad is quite an amazing man for dedicating his life towards saving these precious souls. How could anyone not want to adopt a dog after watching all these rescues? I just adopted a 6 month old maltipoo after watching all his videos and would never have adopted one in a million years.

A dogs heart is so wonderful that is why I do not get tired of watching every day. It is sad that so many of these angels Are lost and abused and starving. All I can do is pray for all these poor animals.

I love how these dogs, no matter how hungry they are, are always careful not to bite the hand that feeds them. :) one of my dogs on the other hand........greedy little bastard.
