I’m an animal lover, I love animals of all shapes and forms. But people need to learn that in certain places, people eat these animals we see as pets. It’s part of their culture, and just because it’s not something we’re used to in the states, doesn’t make it something wrong or bad morally. If you’re upset by this but still eat pigs and cows and animals like that, that’s a bit hypocritical.

The problem is due to selective breeding over thousands of years and perhaps billionsnif generationsnof dogs is that we have optimized them fornhuman companionship with work and intelligence as a secondary useful i characteristic . I.e we bred dogs to be able to be compatible with human psycology. We shouldnt be eating them for food because we literaly bred them to trust us and read our emotions. Pigs on the other hand dgaf. As a Asian American. I have to say eating dogs is disturbing and wrong to me. I respect the culture, but I just don't want see a dog put down and cook in front me. My dad and relatives have ate dog meat before, but never in my whole life have I ate dog meat because I love dogs and cats as pets. I respect culture, but humanity has a deal with dogs. We more or less “made them” and with that comes trust and responsibility. In a time of such available food in Vietnam, I wish my people would stop this. That said if you offered me a piece and it smelled good I’d try it. I guess we’re all animals after all.

I would never ever eat dog meat b and yes watching this makes me slightly quizzy but I totally respect the culture and that this is something they eat. I've been to Vietnam a couple times. Who knows I've maybe eaten it but not known. 😂😂😂

You know what when jessie ventura visited the sheep factory where the sheep are bred to grow human livers. He asked the scientist "whats to stop these sheep jumping the fence and breeding and humans eating human livers and meat in the supermarkets?" The guy said "nothing". @@Han-nk3io i feel the same about rats. Ive adopted them from shelters all my life. Thyr little dogs; and they are so affectionate; and get very concerned when your upset. They can tell you your sick days before yiu yourself even know. Id love a bamboo rat

I watched how the dogs are prepared for slaughter in Vietnam, 99% of the commenters would change they're opinion about eating dog if they witnessed it!

did you know in Africa they eat pets too? 🐕🐈 the difference is they don't sell it openly...some parts of Eastern Europe too...this isn't only an Asian thing...
