Bystander effect. They assume someone else will be able to help. Also because stopping in the middle of the road in a car is dangerous as fuck. There is a reason why people WALKING by are the ones that helped.

It wasn’t god who saved the dog, it was because these people cared enough to help.

It hurts so much just knowing people's disregard for the sanctity of this precious life. A dog is the most loyal, loving, giving companion. They aren't jealous, or spiteful, or hateful, or any of the poor qualities of humanity. They're just trying to live. They deserve care, respect, and compassion.

I hope you would have been at least as moved if it had been a human child. I also hope traffic wouldn't have ignored a human child. That doesn't mean this isn't heartbreaking. It truly is. I am so disappointed in mankind these days. Animal abuse and neglect is one of those top reasons.

Когда собака лежала посреди дороги, то лапы ей обвязали цепью, чтобы не могла встать и убежать. Специально для съёмок запутали лапы. Как её мучили, чтобы сделать этот фильм.
