Our pitbull was left behind by her family. They moved to Louisiana and left her there. Fortunately someone found her and then she ended up with us. She died February of this year but we are glad she at least lived a couple of years with us.

No, if they stop getting dogs, there would be no dogs to leave behind. If their intentions are not sincere they should not get dogs period. Since they cannot make a commitment to care for the dog.

If you wouldn't leave your kids behind, you shouldn't leave your pets behind. You've made a commitment to that animal. They are part of the family. You don't even discard them at a shelter. If they care for their pets that way, I wonder how they care for their kids.

Animal cruelty for leaving him? That doesn't constitute animal cruelty.

My dog Carly, one of my bestfriends, was rescued from an empty house. She was found tied up and the family gone. Even though what she went through was terrible, I'm so very grateful to have her in my life. Having depression, she always knows when I'm having a bad day. She makes everything better.

I saved a few cats that people moved and left them behind..I got a home for 1 cat and the other needed medical attention which I got for her and saved her life she is now my cat she lives live a princess and she deserves it but really I think she saved my life being retired gets boring and lonely now I have my hands full and enjoy every minute of it.. I call her Troubles she is 8 months old now, but I should of named he Angel !! We needed each other I am so happy I thank the Lord every day for her she is special.. Enjoy Carly she will always be your best friend...

Pets are so helpful for coping with depression. I got a cat for the first time earlier this year from my local shelter. I used to hate cats but he demanded I take him home and he is now my best friend. I even got a second and they melt away all my anger and misery as soon as I get home.

Bless big Bo, he's a beautiful dog who was scared but really only wants loving, and I think his new mom just wanted to do that! Hope they live happily ever after together 💗

That just means that they would never feel that way so they can't comprehend how another person can be so evil. God bless you for trying though. ♥️🐕 We can never know what these dogs have gone through, and they sometimes don't know we're trying to help them. We adopted a little dog who took two years to gradually change from being very scared and shy, to being a happy little ball of energy and play.

If people are doing dog rescue like this it seems a doggie sedatives would be helpful & not so traumatic for the pup & not as dangerous for the dear people rescuing them. The girl was brave getting in the dog house & looping him!😇 Hope they pursued criminal charges on the people who left him! He’s a beautiful boy!❤️

I think many people just don't realize how much work a dog actually is and don't inform themselves on the needs of the breed (a pyrenees is a working dog who needs a purpose) and then just toss them out because they blame it on the animal. Needless to say it's wrong and cruel.

God is fair above all, He would have to be in this world full of deception. So let's not be so quick to judge. I know it's hard. Animal cruelty is the one thing that get's my blood boiling. In this situation there was a lot of neglect, but again, we don't know the full story, plus there was a great outcome. God loves His animals..

Animals like this are why I love animals so much more than most people. He’s a beautiful dog and just needs to know what it’s like to really be loved. I wish cruelty and abandonment laws were tougher and more enforced. Far too many animals see this kind of treatment. 😢

I agree 100%. Usually, not always, but huge connection with people who hurt animals go on to hurt people. Sad.

Honestly people that can do that to him without a second thought for his well being don’t deserve to breathe.

I could never leave my guys. If I move, we all move. They are my family. I would never think to go without them. So cruel to leave that beautiful guy behind. I’m happy to see that he’s living with a loving family now.

From even the " thumbnail " photo I could see that Bo was a gentle giant that would love to be a part of someone's family. He looked pretty rough, but you could almost see that cleaned up a bit, he was going to be a handsome dog. This wonderful woman is to be thanked for rescuing him.

He is so lucky to get such a good mama that loves him.

Bo’s duty was to protect that house and he kept doing it!

Bo reminds me of my dog that crossed the rainbow bridge. Bless all who saved Bo for his final forever home where he will be comfortable and loved forever!

I just look up animal cruelty law in Oklahoma and it turns out the previous owner of Bo can be charged with two count misdemeanor for abandoning their dog as 1: Bo was attacked by Coyotes and 2: he was abandoned by them so they'll either get fined or get jailed for a year.

Great Pyrenees are companion dogs, usually for livestock. They are gentle giants. I have a male and he thinks all of my neighborhood is his flock. The new “mom” has acquired a loving, protective bonded soul.

How and why would you do this to a beautiful dog like that’s is beyond me. Thank you to all the people involved in rescuing him and finding him a forever home.

Boyyy...what a great story. Thank you to these great people. 🙏❤👍I had a similar experience with my Jack Russell I rescued. She was in such anxiety and trauma when I first got her, that it took YEARS for her to trust me enough to be finally relaxed, happy and love her home. It was tough.......but so worth it. Bottom line; these precious animals deserve every right and chance that people do in their lives. Because what ever happened to these dogs, wasn't their fault. A human's empathy and understanding goes a long way. People need to live in a philosophy of, "What if that was me?". I bet the world would be a far much better place. For us and for animals.

Way to go!!! So happy for Bo that he now has a loving family, he deserves it…. Long happy life buddy

When the housing market crashed several years back people were just leaving their houses and their pets. Banks did not go out to check those houses and thousands of cats, dogs, and other pets died of dehydration and starvation not to mention broken hearts.

@@karencourt5684 good for you and the fox! I envy you. I live in France and for having traveled extensively across North America including Canada I know perfectly well what you mean when you talk about wildlife. I m an animal lover myself.

Just cannot understand this at all, leaving him like that. My dog is the most precious thing in my life. He comes before me, in so many ways. They totally depend on us, to care for them. The least we can do. I’m so glad he found his mum. 🥰 So upsetting and incomprehensible to me anyway. 😭 He’s a gorgeous doggo. God bless this lady. ❤️

Thank you God for giving us rescuers. My heart breaks for this little guy, but praise God for sending us his angels also known as rescuers. 🐾🐾❤❤❤❤

Oh hes a great pyrenees I just rescued 1 about 6 months ago they are the sweetest dogs but mind you this dog is 9 months old and weighs 97 pounds already and they grow until they are 2 so huntil they are too so him's gonna be a big boy thank you guys so much for giving that dog his best life God-bless you
