The dog anxiety wrap or vest is one of the most popular anxiety-reducing tools for pet parents and their dogs. We share our review of the Thundershirt anxiety wrap we got for our anxious dog.
Anxiety is a real problem for dogs. One common cause of anxiety is thunderstorms. As soon as many dogs hear thunderstorms rumbling in the distance, they race to the nearest closet or under the bed, panting, drooling, shaking and whining. I bought a Thundershirt for my chihuahua. It didn’t help with her anxiety in the car. Neither did it help with thunder storms.

It’s a gel that they ingest, it was recommended to us by our vet and it essentially calms them down. It worked well for us and the dosage depends on the weight of the dog, the brand we were recommended by our vet in Europe is called VetFood. Hope that helps!

@@cynthiasprehe2319 the thundershirt is for sure! And it’s on Amazon too! VetFood stress gel is a European brand so yea that might not be in the US but ask your vet for something similar or a brand that has the same type of product in the US😀
