many many thanks, I've been I've been literally trying to design of a way to increase the height of the pedal mount without increasing the weight and now I've seen your solution I'll have to scrap mine and go for yours, simple and effective!

Also erstmal ein riesiges großes Dankeschön für Deine Mühe, Johannes! Ich wurde von der besten aller Ehefrauen grad zum Abendessen gerufen und konnte nur kurz reinspitzen, aber gleich nachher werd ich jede Deiner Schrauben in mich aufsaugen und dann gleich an die Bestellung der Profile und der Brackets von Fanatec gehen. Christian Hofmann I would actually recommend going with 630mms for the 4040s and the two 8040s as it provides a little more clearance. Have fun!

@@twack3r...so, I studied exactely what you have mounted. A few questions remain: 1. 630 mm for the crossbars. I think the Fanatec mounting brackets only fit between 600 mm. Am I wrong? 2. What groove (german "Nut") did you use for the aluminium profiles? 8 or 10? B or I-Type? I think all the DOF-Reality screws are M8. Your screw holes seem to be exactely as wide as Nut 8. 3. Can you recommend the shop where you ordered the profiles and angles? Which one was it? Again, thank you for your help and time. I apologize for beeing such a stalker but I am no good tinker :-) Greetings and have a nice weekend, Christian

Christian Hofmann 1. you Are absolutely right, stick with 600mm. 2. these are all profiles type I nut 8. 3. I ordered many times from aluprofile24.de I find their pricing very competitive and they ship quickly. You can also order all the angles and screws right with them but I also ordered the large angles I shared with you already via eBay as well as two sets of Justech 10 x Eckwinkel... www.amazon.de/dp/B07ZQ9TDR1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share for the black angles. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!

All these profiles will add weights to the rig though. Also, you mean there is no motion compensation for Pimax 8KX?
