Apraxia of speech is a neurological condition that affects the patient’s ability to coordinate muscle movements in the mouth resulting in unclear speech.     Hi Heccine Snazzy, I have Speech Dyspraxia which is basically Apraxia gained at or before birth. To my understanding there's different severities, but it doesn't define who you are. There is trouble with communicating but I've personally learned ways around it and therapy personally helps. But again, it doesn't define who you are, you give your own definition of self. If you think you have it you can be tested by a speech pathologist, but from my own experience, it can be worked around.

    Skip on wine, outings, take outs, vacations, etc. My child has CAS, if he needs therapy, what else matters more?
